We were perfect or so i thought. I have not had the easiet of a life and it took me so long to give him my heart. He was always there working for it and now i seems that when i was able to open up it was all so good and i was so happy and so was he. then he just changed mainly due to his family they are over protective and since they pay for his college tuition they have so much say in his life. He is the only person i have ever loved and i am scared i will never love the same. How do i let go?

I was in fifth grade and there was this one guy in my class who every girl had a crush on. I was the lucky girl who was assigned to sit next to him. I got to know him and we kind of became friends. I'm not sure if he ever liked me or not, but I began to like him A LOT. I seriously looked forward to going to school because I would get to see him. In sixth and seventh grades we were in different classes, but whenever I saw him in the halls I still got that feeling in my stomach. Then one day in eigth grade I saw him acting all stupid with his friends and I realized I didn't like him anymore. Since then, I've been able to move on and like other guys.

i dont think u can ever 4get about ur first love even if it didnt turn out so well. that person will seem to stay with ur 4ever. sometimes it may feel like hes in the back or ur head, but never out of your mind. the memory is just something u hav to accept but probably wont get used to.

You will never ever fully get over your first love. One of my friends saw her a few months ago, and when he told me about it my heart jumped a little even 11 years and several relationships after we broke up.

I think that given time you will get over him. you will move on with other relationships and will fall in love again.
You will alway remember your first love. But that is not a bad thing.

its hard but the easiest thing to say is if it was real it will all work out. if it isn't it won't. thats wnat keeps me going everyday the hope it will work out. and yet still leaveing my heart open to new possabilities.
