i'm 17(i'll be 18 next month) i'm n school in my parents treat me like a little kid.... i can't talk to them about anything for example when me in my friends go out i always have to take my brother with me! i stay in the house all the time because they don't want me going any where.... i really don't know what to do HELP ME! i just feel like running away!

parents have a hard time letting their kids grow up....the independence thing scares us to death, even if we mask it as being mean or over baring. you are a kid...and their kid. you have to show them that you are mature enough to spread your wings sometimes.running away is not the answer! thats lack of maturity. stay and prove them wrong! show them they can trust you.
p.s you can do this!

you SOUND a LOT younger then 18..... Maybe your parents do not want you to get mixed up with the wrong crowd.... and with your little brother with you all the time, THAT certainly won't happen. Must be some where along the line, you did SOMETHING that lost your parent's trust in YOU and so this is how they handle it..
