i think bright red roses. dont go to dark. they'll stand up just enough and add a crip touch. also will let the brown pop just a bit. red will overall complement everything beautifully. good luck =]

Yes, I think that it would go. However, I don't think that it would look good. If you do dark flowers against a dark dress they will only fade away. If you are paying all that money for flowers you want them to pop. I would go with something like pale pink. Or maybe oranges and yellows or even creams.

He's right - brown is just so dull, it needs something to perk up the colours to make things seem happier! Maybe even light pink - but better would be a peach, coral - yellow - something bright!
Actually, a mixed bouquet or at least a combo of colours would be nice.

Pink goes much better with chocolate brown than red does, AND it's very trendy right now. I'm sure you'll be able to find tons of cute things in that color scheme.

Bright red, but pink would be much nicer. Dark red is big no no coz the two dark colors togethor would look blechy.

Red roses will go (but not to dark, otherwise they won't stand out). I am having chocolate coloured bridesmaid dresses and creamy/latte coloured flowers (I think!)

Absolutely!! Red and Chocolate are fast becoming a popular color combination and the contrast is wonderful. I have seen chocolate table clothes with deep red runners and it looks fabulous! Don't listen to your moms husband, choose the colors you like!
