so me and this guy like eachother but right now I don't really want a boy friend for a lot of reasons
I'll hang out with him and all and we'll hug but other than that I don't want anything else like the kissing and the title or the complete comitment. he knows this and I don't know if he's ok with it. he says he is but he could just be being nice..
do you think this is really mean of me?
I do have good reasons why I don't want to date right now
which I've kinda explained some of them to him
any ideas?

You've made your position clear - and he has accepted it (at least he's said so). As long as you BOTH continue to communicate (and you HAVE shared at least some of your reasons), then it's all good...

So, NO - it's not mean. Being bullied into a relationship WOULD be mean ;););)

oh my gosh i am in ur exact situtatin right now!! seriously.. and the guy just WONT understand.... i have told him and he is still very persistent... one of my reasons is that i am like kinda too nervous and scared to have a boyfriend and i get nervous to make out etc....i told him "i don't want a boyfriend and i am not into a random hook up so you should find another girl that will give you what you want because i wont give you anything you want and i feel bad that u still like me etc etc"

Sometimes it seems like rejection and he might just being nice but if truly have really good reasons then it should be okay.

only do what your comfortable doing! if your sensing this guy is upset by you not being ready to commit just explain to him that you like him you're just not ready. if he's still upset then he'll get over it, and if he truely likes you, he'll wait for you! only go out with someone if you're ready. it's completely fine for you to do this. not mean at all. it would be mean to yourself to go out with him when your not ready.

i don't think so. you aren't ready right now for that kind of commitment. if he really cares for you, he will wait. i'm sure he understands what you mean.

As long as you are open and honest with him it's fine.
