I'm responsible, I stay home alone sometimes, I run errands, I walk to and from school, I make dinners, i help with loads around the house...but I dont have any freedom! Its not that my parents don't trust me...its just theyve never given me a chance to me free.

Like...I can't go shopping on my own/with friends, I cant walk around much, I can't even stay home longer than 3 hours without someone to look over me. It drives me crazy, because all my friends can shop on their own and stuff! UGH!

What can I do/say to them?

P.S...I'm 12 & 3/4, live in rural area.

I heard about a website that is like eharmony or match.com but it's for married people that want to cheat. Is it just me or is our society very warped and doesn't value marriage anymore? I'm far from a prude but I do value monogomous relationships and trust my husband more than anyone. When I heard about this website, it was really disturbing that someone would create such a place to make it ok for cheaters to find others to cheat with. It's making loyalty a thing of the past. I'm divorced but even at the worst points in that relationship, I never considered cheating. I just wanted to find out other's opinions on this site. If you are pro-cheating, please state why, I'm not judging anyone, I just don't get it and I'd like to see it from another point of view.

My wife & I have been together for 4 years. Married for 3. 9 yr old stepson & a 2 yr old daughter with her. She doesnt work except for saleing jewelry on ebay. I work a full time job & am very active in our church. It seems like all I do is work. I come home, the children are never fed, the house is a disaster & all she has done is sit on Ebay looking at baby clothes for our daughter & spends money we dont have. She stays up till around 1 to 3 in the morning on the computer & does nothing. I help with stepsons school work. She only does laundry when its absolutely neccesary, my stepson usually has to wear dirty uniforms to school. The children are on no schedule whatsoever. My mother helps as much as she can but the relationship between her & my wife is becoming more & more strained. I'm not a mothersboy but am close to my parents. My mother has had enough of her negligence & so have I. When I try to talk to my wife, she's overly defensive and begins pointing the finger. Please Help!

I have looked at and studied relationships for years and have come to a conclusion I want to peoples opinion on. Here it is...

The vast majority of people who have married did not marry because they truely "in love with someone", but rather because they are afraid of the pain of loosing the one they are with. Do you agree with this statement? Meaning, did you marry not because you were truely in love with your partner, but rather because you would have been devastated by loosing them? Please be honest...

first off, before i begin, i am posting this question here b/c i need mature, serious answers...i made the mistake of putting it first on singles/dating and only got one reponse and i would a little more opinions please, so here i go. So i ask, what does it mean when a guy tell you that "we have great chemistry together"? This is how it started, i signed up on an obnline dating site and he was first to mail me. We started talking to one another and everything was great! The conversations we had and still have on the phone, through mails and texts brighten my day and he makes me feel so comfortable talking to him, like i have known him all my life. i have been in serious relationships before, but the way this guy makes me feel can not compare to the way i felt for the ones in the past, it's pretty ironic. The problem lies here, he lives in southern alabama and i live in southern louisiana, so what is dividing us is roughly a lil over 100miles. He tells me time and time again that the

I have been seperated for a year and divorced for 4 months now. My marriage ended to due the discovery of a second affair with a different co-worker. I'm not bitter, I'm actually happy our marriage is over. He was no longer the man I married and loved. He is still with the girl whom he refers to as his "friend". He has continued to beg me to give him another chance and has even harrassed me. I don't encourage his come ons and have told him repeatedly that it's over. He has finally stopped calling at home, on my cell & at work ( I think his girl may have found out).. He still does some strange things but I ignore it for the most part. Here's where I need help.. Last night I accidentally open a letter addressed to him from a church.. It talks about him setting up a meeting for him and his girl to go over possible wedding dates.. It looks like he purposely mailed the letter to my home address.. Why would he do this? What normal person does this?

Frankly, if I'm not invited to a wedding, I do not take it personally because there are so many possible valid reasons (lack of space, conflicts with other guests, maybe I'm not as close as I think, etc.). But some people have actually confronted my friends demanding an explanation of why they weren't invited. Mortifying!! Geez, there are other friends I've had for 20 years I was unable to invite...why do people feel "entitled" to attend a wedding? Guests lists are difficult enough as it is! Not sure how to respond if/when they confront me.

I had a guy over for dinner the other night. I was supposed to be off that day, but I got sent 2 hours out of town to work. I had called him the day before to let him know I had to work and it would just be ready later.
This was my 7th (LONG) day working in a row, then 2 hours out of town. I got home and started cooking. He got there and I was still in my work clothes and looking pretty beat. He had gotten home from work and taken a shower and looked really nice. Do you think it bothered him that i didn't take the time to clean myself up? He knew I had only been home about an hour before he got there, and had been cooking. I was getting late and I knew he would be hungry.
What do you think?

I always see women answer that husbands should do ______(fill in the bank). Why do the men always have to be the ones to plan something romantic? Yes we can but how about the wives suprise US men with romantic things. You want equal rights well then you should have to show your love as equally as we do when it comes to planning activities. movies, dinner, romantic weekend etc......

Over the weekend, I was supposed to hang out with my boyfriend. We had agreed on Sunday and I told him to call me at 11:30 that day so that I could tell him where to meet me at the mall. We don't see each other much, so this was a big deal. Sunday comes and I forget my cell at home and I'm working later than expected, so I call him at 9 am and leave a message telling him to call me back at 1 pm. His phone was off. At lunch (about 11:00) I call his phone again on a different number. His phone is on, but he doesn't answer. I don't leave a message. At about 1 pm, I call for the last time. His phone is off. I haven't talked to him and needless to say, I'm kind of pissed. Should I call to see what happened? I haven't had my cell, so he has no way to get in contact with me because he doesn't know a number to reach me on. As of now, I've stopped calling him my boyfriend.

OK my bridesmaids and MOH are wearing the same type and color of dress.

Besides the obvious "she's standing beside you" answers, what ideas do you have in order to differentiate between MoH and the Bridesmaids?

I have a few ideas but would like to hear others.

Thanks!

BTW, the colors are Royal Blue and the wedding will be on the beach. June 2008.

I would like to propose to my GF on her birthday, (Dec 10) unfortunatly it falls on a Monday this year and going all on for her then is not an option. So if you were here would you like it on the actual birthday (for an event to remember) or is just before the birthday okay?

The options
On her birthday i take her out to a fancy restaurant for dinner, romantic with candles and a piano player, and have dinner and after over a glass of suprise champagne - propose to her. The specialness is that it is her ACTUAL birthday - and one she will never forget.

The second option is to take her away to a romantic resort, with a view of the lake and a fireplace.
It would have to be the thurs, fri, sat, before her birthday as the place doesn't have availability.
I would get her the time off, and take her down there thursday afternoon & we'd settle in. Friday we would spend the day together and have dinner overlooking the water and propose there. The specialness is that we're alone
Which one?

My husband and I are getting a divorce weither he likes it or not and he is so damn wishy washy I am about to pull my hair out!!
One day he doesn't want to ever see our son again the next he does grr then so I meet with him last night to go over the divorce papers which I have been very fair in!!!!
So he says I am not going to sign them! Why is he being so ignorant?
This is what I put in the divorce visits every other weekend I would provide transportation no property to divide up and the courts will figure out the child support.
Here is more of the story I have a restraining order in another state against him he has 2 felonies for beating me in front of the kids and a no contact order so if I wanted to I could really take his son away but I am being nice
Not to mention he never allowed me to work and I am not seeking spousal support. I find myself hating him so much and getting to the point that I want it done so it is about to turn nasty how is this I used to love him so much???

Once, I had sex with a call girl. After we were done, she said that I made her orgasm twice and that no one has made her feel this way before. She also wanted to give me her phone number. Also I was asked if i enjoyed the sex and I said it was okay. She ask me "Well, what do you mean it was okay?" She stuttered a little while asking me the question. It sounded as if she was upset. Are her emotions real or is she playing games? What does this all mean?

i have been to several weddings recently where there was almost 200 people and all were cash bar. i was invited to a "jack and jill" for all. most couples made it clear that these events were for them to make money for their weddings. i was invited to bridal showers where many of the invitations indicated that monetary gifts were emphasied. there were never any bridal registries indicated and it was communicated via word-of mouth that cash was the only option for wedding gifts. i totally understand that parents do not pay for weddings anymore.........my sister is really tight for her own wedding due to this. why don't people do what is within their means? i.e. if you can't have an open bar.......just invite immediate family? treat the guests you can afford to invite really well. what's with the wedding extravagence for people that can't afford it? when i got married it was city hall, dinner for 15 and a good nights sleep in a nice hotel. what's up with todays weddings? please advise.
