If yes....how long did it take for you to get over it....i mean completely... no thoughts abt him at all....

its been 9 mnths in my case ... ad i still have thoughts abt him from time to time ... is it nomal....

i dont miss him... but that incidence still hurts a lot...

Yes, and I am still getting over it! But Pearl life will not stop for you and espcially for him. He have moved on, and you need to keep youself respect by cuting him out of your life at once.
I know it is hard, and time will heal any wound, sounds like a tired old clicqe, but it is true.

There are still times, when he manages to squeez in my thoughts, despite a husband and kids. But, now they are bittersweet thoughts, that say "What If", here one min, gone another, Don't run away from the pain, hiding it will make it worse. Just channalize that in somthing you enojoy doing, or in some sort of activity that will be useful to the community. You will get sense of worth and satisfaction. Many girl I know, think, they did not deserve the man, and were not good enough. That is the most stupidest thing to think, it is as if you don't have any backbone and will willinglly let him walk all over you.

Hey, he may be a nice guy for all I know, but things just didn't work out. Better sooner, than later, when you might have invested so many years to him. Worst still, if there are children, I mean that's like destroying 4 lives instead saving one.

Go out on a all girl night, see a play, go on a Euro trip, anything that will keep you occupied until, you have adjusted and can face him, with just a simple friendly smile.

You will never forget a person you dated. I still remember a guy I dated in high school, and that was over 10 years ago - not because I miss him, but just as a passing though.

How long it takes you to get over the other person depends a lot on you and your relationship. How long you were together, if you were engaged/married/have children ... those things could affect it. It's normal to think about people you dated; they helped make you the person you are today.

yeah it sucked i was dumped on AIM worst way to get dumped completely ridiculous. it took me about 4-5 months to get over it. but i still think about him every once in a while. but not like oh i wish he was still with me. more like i can't believe i went out with a loser that was full of b.s. i mean if he broke up with you then he's not worth your time! find someone who can really appreciate you and can fill your thoughts up wit him!

First of all im sorry you went through this. I broke up with my girlfriend and its been 2 weeks and i love her like crazy. maybe byt the end of the month ill feel better. just get you r head busy and do things. thats working for me. do exercise, movies, hang out with friends or something.

i haven't been dumped...but will someday b/c everyone gets dumped at some point.....I told a guy that I thought we should break up and he goes "I agree" that's all he said! hahahha I'm still trying to get over him....but folks tell me with time...blah blah...but I'm still waiting hahhaha....good luck! i got dumped 8 months ago by someone i thought would be the one for me. i got over it, but not 100%. i think about him sometimes, but not in a way for us to get back together.
