I heard about a website that is like eharmony or match.com but it's for married people that want to cheat. Is it just me or is our society very warped and doesn't value marriage anymore? I'm far from a prude but I do value monogomous relationships and trust my husband more than anyone. When I heard about this website, it was really disturbing that someone would create such a place to make it ok for cheaters to find others to cheat with. It's making loyalty a thing of the past. I'm divorced but even at the worst points in that relationship, I never considered cheating. I just wanted to find out other's opinions on this site. If you are pro-cheating, please state why, I'm not judging anyone, I just don't get it and I'd like to see it from another point of view.

personally i am against cheating,.... why be with someone and be commited if you are just going to cheat.... i was married for five years and cheated in time after time... i dont think cheating is right... but i mean whatever floats a persons boat... but i know with the person i am with now i have never considered cheating because i just feel that when you love someone you dont see yourself doing that to them or even think of going outside the relationship.... so i woild have to agree that a site like this is crazy because it makes cheating at the fingertips of everyone as if there was not enough temptation just walking down the street...

Society is warped...and the site is called "Fling." I found it one day while I was trying to clean-up the hard drive on the computer. There were thousands of files that referred to the Fling website and there as a "screen name" associated with these files so I went to Fling to look at it and there was my wife's picture. I wrote her a note in there and she sent her cell phone number back to me. I confronted her and she almost crapped her pants and then got mad at me for "not trusting her" and accused me of "setting her up." Well, the judge in divorce court wasn't amused either. Who knows how long that was going on...I never cheated and I just don't understand the mentality of people that do that. She said that she never tried to hurt me...well I guess I would never have been hurt if she hadn't of got caught....maybe that's what she meant. It has been two years since the divorce and I still find it very difficult to trust anyone now. I don't let anyone get close to me in that way or allow someone to get into my heart; I hate living this way but I can't help it.

I recently heard about this web site as well. I have never been married but hearing things like this I think can make some women afraid of marriage! It's better to walk way then to cheat. If I had thought my future husband was capable of even internet cheating I would be GONE!

There's something for everyone these days. . .that can be good AND bad. It's unfortunate but there probably isn't a lack of activity on that site. I'm not a cheater either. . .when my partner and I talked about that . .why men cheat - he says "men are dogs" but I know women are not immune. . ..
Statistics on marriage - say marriage is down in numbers and divorce rates are still high. Means less people are getting married but even those who do - don't stay married.

I definitely feel the same way as you do. What's the point of even getting married, if you're going to cheat. I've been divorced now for quite a few years, and probably a little older than most of you, but still value the vows of marriage, and feel that these web-sites downgrade the institution of marriage and what it stands for...

I really don't think it's that easy. I'm personally against it but to each their own. I really don't think that the website would work though. It's just a way for people to get rich( the owners of the site). I mean really....... if you're going to cheat are you going to post your picture on a website? It just doesn't make sense to me.

I really don't understand why people cheat instead of spending that time trying to understand what is lacking in their marriage that makes them tempted to stray, or at least just *leaving.* However, so many people cheat, and if there's a demand for a product or service, someone will be there to supply it.

There's a television show, I enjoy "Cheaters" that catches cheating partners on tv and airs on national tv. Most cases come from dallas / fort worth where the show's produced.
The most ironic thing is their biggest advertiser is ashleymadison.com a website dedicated to cheating.

It has become a game. Why marry if you're going to cheat? Stay single and no one gets hurt especially the kids.
