If a man is on a first, or second date, and his date wears something low cut, and revealing, does it score points with his date if he notices and shows appreciation for her effert, and her fine body? Where is the line bettween being interested, and just being a hound dog?

about anything in life, my husband playing with his friends now

2007-11-16 06:35:42 · 26 answers · asked by Anonymous in Marriage & Divorce

I've been married for about 3 years and my husband has always been an aggressive guy, but recently we have been having physical fights.

Yeah that's bad but the lastest incident has me concerned. We were fighting again and when he finally let me go he started beating on his head and face w/ his fists to the point where he drew blood. Then he started screaming at the top of his lungs about the circus and a princess.

There's other stuff too like him grabbing my face and staring at me really hard and then saying "Your face has the number 7 written all over it." And then touching my face like he actually sees something on it.

I know there must be something wrong with him mentally but I don't know what to do. I want to get him help but he won't listen to me. I know we might need an intervention but I don't know if I should get family involved or leave them out of it.

I've never seen this behavior from him before. I wanna save my marriage but I also want to feel safe. Any Ideas?

A letter arrives @ our home, for my wife, addressed to her "maiden name". I have asked her multiple times about her purchasing a second cell phone, she replies, "No". The letter was from a cell phone company, different from our current provider; actually from a Pre-pay company. We have been married for over 10 years. At the same address for about 8 years. Should I be suspicious of this, or count it as mailing error? Help me out...ladies.

It seems like girls (myself included) always seem to wait on guys to commit to the relationship (if they decide to commit at all) when we have already commited to them...what's up with that? Is there like a certain age or something that guys start looking for long term relationships?? I'm talking about committing as in boyfriend/girlfriend relationships (not getting married).

To me.. that is wrong.. If he is spending hours on the pc when i am home from work and I walk in and ask.. whats up.. he says.. its my pc.. i can do whatever I want to do..

Isnt that just rude.. and childish?

Or when dealing with my kids he says.. Im the adult here.. you cant talk to me that way.. but he is acting the exact same way as me 14 year old daughter..?

is ok for me to get mad at this.. or am i suppost to just brush it off and go about my own business??

we have been together 5 years.. he lives with me..?

...be a better wife to a womanizing, selfish, arrogant, stubborn, pig-headed man, who cares about no one but himself? I hear all kinds of people say "Well, if you would have been a better spouse...". I cannot try any harder. My will is gone. Over the past few years I have done nothing but change, hoping that one day, just maybe, he would love me again. It doesn't matter what I do - I have lost 20 lbs., firmed up my abs and buttocks, cut my hair, taken better care of myself - everything for him. And what does he do? Be-little me and yell at me when he is frustrated (he does this to the kids, too). What kind of monster have I been married to for almost 14 years? He knows what he has to do to make ME happy - a little more affection. That's all I have asked for - but he says that since he wasn't raised that way he can't do it. What kind of BS is that? Ok, sorry about ranting and raving, but seriously, why is always the fault of the one who is being cheated on? Please help!!!

I am a 25 year old widow dating a soon to be 50 man. He has 2 kids 16 and 21. I have no kids but want them, when we talk about it he never gives me a strait answer. Will it work? We've been together for 3.5 years and are very happy together other than the kids and marriage conversation. Help?

My soon-to-be ex says it's 15% total, and that his offer for around 18% is extremely generous. My mom says that's the standard per child, not for both children.

Also, he wants to directly pay certain bills, instead of giving me the money. I'm actually okay with that, because I am REALLY bad at managing money. However, I'm a little worried that he would just consider his child support payments would be smaller if the different things he's paying for go down in cost.

He's offering to pay my rent, provided it's not over a certain amount, my car payment (same stipulation) and one of the preschool/afterschool payments a month, and the kids will stay on his health insurance policy. If I trade in my car for a cheaper model, move to a cheaper apartment, remarry or when the preschool/afterschool tuition payments drop, he would be paying less child support.

Advise?

If you dated a guy that was the sweetest person on earth, treated you well, had a good job, made you laugh, had a good time with but you didn't necessarily think he was "as intelligent" as you were, would you date him/marry him?

I think text mess. is for teenagers, not grown men and woman. My friend is 32 and single, I am amazed and annoyed that these professional men she meets send her text mess. to see how she is doing, and to ask her out. I think it's rude. But on top of that they include happy and sad faces. I told her that if they want to take her out, then they should call. She told me that I am out of the loop and this is how's done. Whose wrong, me or my friend.

Do you have any tips for me to avoid another hurtful relationship? I was married for 16.5 years and the divorce is going along swimmingly. No, before you ask, there is zero chance of reconciliation here (she cheated on me). If you've been there & done that "successfully" can U share some pointers of what made it work for you? please?

These two are so often lumped together . But, jeez, choosing a mate seems so much more complicated and difficult when you throw kids into the mix. I think I'd like to just find a girl and then think about kids later.
