My dad looks at pornography... he hid it from me but I'm not stupid... I caught him looking at RealityKings.com.

Also I'm the kind of person who wakes up in the middle of the night and then goes back to sleep. Lots of times I'll hear my parents having sex (they are loud!) down the hall. GROSS! Dad's 50, mom's 40 btw. And the next day their bed's a MESS, they don't clean up! EWWWW

Help me not to be so grossed out, I don't love my parents and they don't love me, they are just people I live with. But STILL its nasty!

My bf and I have been dating almost two years, throughout this time he has continued to talk to his ex wife through texting. I have expressed MANY times that I do not like it, yet he makes out like it is nothing, and continues. I had checked his phone records and confirmed many times that he was indeed still talking to her, and he gets mad for that, so I said I wouldnt do it anymore, and he said they wouldnt talk anymore, well, I got the notion that they were still talking, so I went and checked again, and I was right...am I wrong for checking up on him even when i said I wouldnt? What should I do?>

My fiance is wonderful. I am very happy. But she has a few flaws that concern me (ok ok... drive me mad on occasion). not only is she aware she has them but she wants to fix them because they bother her too. However, she gets really mad at me when I try to help her. I make sure that I don't sound like I am attacking her. And I always assure her that I love her no matter what. But when I try to help, she gets upset.

For example, she spends too much. She has alot of debt. I've made my career in finance. But when I try to help, she gets all upset. She's selfish at times, so she tells me to just tell her calmly when she gets like that, so I do and she gets mad. She runs late alot so I try to get her up and going when we have place to be and she gets mad and says I am rushing her. If you can't help anyone until they want to help themselves, is she fooling herself by saying she wants to fix these things? Will I ever get passed these issues? Should I give her tough love?

This is what I came to realise recently. I cannot describe the feeling, but it is really awful.

I have a neighbour who lived with his parents and his own family. He is the only son and his sisters have since married and shifted away. His wife also bore him a kid.

For years, all of us thought they were a good family. They were friendly to us. We can get along well. They are good neighbours. The old man also appeared friendly and helpful to us.

One fine day, something unspeakable occurred. The old lady suffered a nervous breakdown and was warded. The son is also filing a divorce from his wife.

It seems the grandson of the old man is actually his son. For more than 5 years, no one suspected a thing. Then the cat was led out of the bag and the cover is blown.

This is awful. I have never encounter such a despicable behaviour before. To think this sort of thing can happen? How can this thing be allowed to happen? And to think we thought they were a good family?

He said he is going to go to court & try to change custody so that he can live with him during the week (he lives 2 hrs away) but he lives with me during the week and has since he was born (he's four). We have joint legal custody but physical custody is 60/40, I have the 60%. Is there a chance that the court would take my son away from me and give majority to his dad and only give me two days a week with my son when I raised him from birth and all these years his dad flaked on getting him about half the time? I'm so scared that it will happen. I'm an excellent mother to him and I've never had a problem w/alcohol or drugs or the law. So he has nothing on me but I'm just scared that he'll be taken from me. Please anyone with info or advise on this I would appreciate anything. thanks.

my dad died when i was 4 months old a pertunity test was never done but the social security has on file that my dad was on my record as my dad for 3 days which means i never got and ss... no big deal my mom did awesome job with out it anyways so i talked to my step grandma and back when they asked them if he should be put on they said yes which means 3 days later my real grandma called and told them no and i met my dads family when i was 13 because my dads mom was very mean to my mom and denied i was her (she still does) granddaughter do i have the right to be mad and if so should i confront her or just ignore her like i have since the day i met her

I married a widower (I'm 36 & he's 43) 2 yrs ago. He has 2 kids (ages 7 & 11) from his previous marriage. I have bonded with the kids and take care of our family (housework, cooking, etc... ) and work F/T. We have a great relationship but I am bothered that my he has all assets in the family trust (separate savings, house, retirement, investments, etc...) and I have not been included. The only thing we have invested together is is a joint checking that both our paychecks go in and out of for bills, plus a joint savings for which I am the only contributor. Whenever he gets extra money he puts it in the trust account. Is this okay? It just makes me feel that he doesn't consider me a true member of the family. I've tried to bring it up (feel awkward when I do) but he says it would not matter I'm not in the trust because we are married. Am I wrong to feel he should be contributing to our joing savings or at least include me in the family trust?

My husband and I are in the middle of trying to decide what we should do about our lives for the next few months. There doesn't seem to be hope for our marriage right now, but we're in the middle of so much.. he lost his job and started a new one with different hours, less pay and a much longer commute, there's a chance we'll have to give our house back to the bank, the holiday season around the corner.. He's asked me to wait until we figure out the house situation before I tell him for sure if we'll be separating. I'm just so confused right now... If we lose our house, we'll still have to move into an apartment together until he can get back on his feet and afford to live on his own... After that, I can move out into my own place closer to my job maybe. Our son will continue school close to him.. I guess my question is, should we wait until sometime next year, tough out our mortgage payments for now and continue to live together? We're upside down with our mortgage &can't sell.

Ok, so...My girlfriend Heather dumped me for a guy, so now I have this crush on this guy in my new school. He's so totally awesome and he pokes me all the time. He makes me laugh alot, but he's not her. I miss my girl. She put my life in to perspective for me when everything was going down hill. I honestly don't know what to do. I know she still cares but she's trying to forget....I'd do absolutely anything for her, die, kill, steal, absolutely anything. I just need to know what exactly she needs so I can give it to her. Hell, on the phone last tuesday, I told her if she wanted me to come home to ask me to and I'd walk all the way home. Thats 400 miles from her, but I'd do it, even if it was snowong out like it is now. I'd freeze to death trying to get to her. I didn't even get the chance to leave when she told me that she no longer wanted to be with me, because her mom said no. I always thought that you should follow your heart no matter what. Am I wrong to think this?

* A friend of mine, who I haven't spoken to in almost a year sent me a gift through the internet. A flower gift, just a picture of a flower, that anyone can send to anyone, if they want to as a gesture of appreciation, fun, care etc. I was shocked when she did this, I never thought she would do that, as I felt I was for the most doing the friend work We've known each other for 3 years now, &live in different states. We're both in college & she is about to graduate. I feel she got the hint that I was mad at her because I ignored her on aim, as she was always the first I chatted with. I feel she sent me the card to try & apologize subtly. I will resend her the gift, because it's a nice gesture & would hope from there she actually initiates the conversation, if she cares. *But I still refuse to talk to her when I'm on aim, I can't bring my self to pretend nothing happened,because something did. Is that fine?..I just can't out of the blues tell her what she did.

me and my boyfriend have only been together for 9 months and i am seven months pregnant with his son. though we have not been with each other for very long, i am in love with him and intend on marrying him. we just recently got our own place.... and his mother moved in. the closer and closer it got to her coming... the more and more i didn't like her or the situation. she is only 52 and doesn't work, have a car or licens, she is well over weight, lazy, and a terrible alcoholic. i hate her so much for being there and can't get past it. i don't want her to live with me. i am only 19 and pregnant... i didn't picture it this way. i thought that when i started a family it would be me, my spouse, and our child... well now that his mother is there i don't even know if it will work between me and him. i don't mean to pick, but i catch myself doing it and he is always getting mad at me. this is a big issue. im going crazy!!!
