Should I be concerned that I'm single right now(fresh out of a relationship) and there seems to be no marriage on the horizon. Sometimes I feel like 29 is real old.

Don't feel bad about that. I would feel worse to think I got married in my 20's and regretted it and was divorced by 29 - which seems to be the case for a lot of people. Get married for the right reasons with the right person. No hurry. Better safe than sorry, you know?

When you're 39, you'll look back at yourself ten years ago and think what a kid you were. Probably the way you look back at yourself at 19 now, in fact. And so on, and so forth.

Anyway, don't worry about it. 29 is about the time a lot of guys who have been avoiding relationships start thinking about settling down, so you're right on schedule. Now's the perfect time to do some soul-searching and figure out what you want from life besides marriage, then go out and get it.

Don't rush your youth. You are not old, not by a long shot. You just got out of a relationship, that is what has you thinking this way.

Enjoy this "alone" time to get to know yourself. You may be surprised at what you find. You will get married, don't worry about that because if you do, you may end up marrying the wrong person.

I'm 29 too and feel like it's very old. But the thing is, people are getting married much later in life nowadays. Also, because of the high divorce rate, some people are hesitant to marry (myself being one of them.) And then I look around at people my age and realize that most of them aren't married. Don't worry, it may happen when you least expect it.

29 is just getting started...enjoy the single life. there is so much to life than being in a relationship. if your fresh out of a relationship, take this time to get to know YOU again and what makes YOU happy. in relationships we always over extend ourselves to make the other happy, take this time to start fresh and learn new things about you.

*LOL*

Don't sweat it man. 29 is still very young. And TRUST ME- there are a LOT of single ladies in their 30's.

I'm 33 and have a lady, but if, God forbid, things don't work out between us, best believe I'm just gonna jump right back into the market, and would feel great about the prospect of finding someone new.

I didn't realize that guys think this way about getting married, most times its the total opposite. Anyway i don't think that you should be worried. When you find the right person you'll know its time to get married. Have some fun and live your life.

LOL, and I thought 31 is old. I wouldn't worry about it. You have a long life ahead of you and plenty of time to invest into a serious relationship that could turn into marriage. Enjoy your life while you're still young.
