No. He has no right to ask you to do that. Just because he is her ex's best friend doesn't justify having to put you in the position of having to choose betwn him and her. What does it have to do with him anyway? What happened betwn his best friend and your best friend (relationshipwise) is none of his business. Try asking him to choose betwn his best friend and you and see if he realises how it feels.

Don't ever choose between your man and your friends. If he will leave you over one ultimatum then he is just as likely to leave you for another ultimatum. You better decide how much your willing to give up just to keep this guy around. He already sounds like he is trying to control you. You don't have to ask him to be around your friend. He should have no say in who you are friends with and who you are not friends with. Tell him since he thinks that you being friends with her is a problem because he is friends with her ex then maybe he needs to give up his friend. See how that goes over with him. Don't let him manipulate you. If he cared about you the way he is supposed to then he wouldn't ask you to choose.

If a guy I was dating ever gave me an ultimatum to either dump a friend or lose him, I'd say "don't let the door hit your @ss on the way out." It's childish to say that you can't remain friends with your friends because of an ex-relationship.

It is happening some times my girl friend become my friends girl friend.Do not worry it is quite natural.One thing I can say if my boy friend is sincere he should not recommend to me to be choose his girl friends..
