My husband called me lazy today because i'd rather stay home and watch our soon then go to work. I am an abled bodied professional with a very good job (medical field0. this is also my first child, his third and i just think that I should be responsible for my son not people that i don't know at a day care. what do you think/

every year my dad gets a real christmas tree. its our tradition.
this year my mom and dad split up. and my dad does not live with us any more. so for some reason my mom decided to get a fake christmas tree. at first i didn't want to because it was braking family tradition. but now that my mom has allready got one, i really like it because, it was soooo... much easier. i mean there was no pine needles to clean up, we didn't have to trim it, and we don't have to water it. is it wrong that we are braking family tradition? but then again i miss the smell of a real tree, the feeling that we have one and the fact that it was family tradition. which part of me is right? please tell me how you truly feel because i really miss my dad but nobody seems to take me seriously.

i really care for my ex (really care for him) i love that boy but something seems to be bothering him. He called me out of the blue which surprised me so we talked and it kinda seemed as though he was trying to get me to be his girlfriend but the problem is he already goes with some girl @his school but told me he broke up with her which makes me think i was just a rebound girl that he calls when we wants some attenton and i dont want that with him i love him and he knows that he is the only boy that can call me and sweep me of my feet. So I've been in a realtionship for a year and some months. I moved across state to be with him, I really love him it wasn't hard. We've had our ups and downs ( everyone does ). He can be cold and I can be overly emotion at times. The job market here has been rough, so I've been going to school full time. He told me last night that he is too stressed out worring about me; such as: Health care, No job, No friends. That this was alot of pressure for him. I responed with pure emotion and told him fine I'll go home, of course this lead us to fight and lead to a break-up. After alot of tears and phone calls, we calmed down, and talked about it being a break, not a break up. The bad part about being here with him is I have no faimly I have to fly across country for us to seperate.I want to stay, and be with him. But he is depressed and dealing with the loss of his mother, things spun out of controll so fast. He won't get help. He is already looking for plane tickets. Are we savable? Help plz

Me and my "best friend" used to be great friends we would have crazy fun like no other and then we started highschool and about 5 months in maybe this new girl transfers and now mty friends barely talks to me and when she makes the effert i just turn away and i feel replaced becasue she tells this new girl everything and me nothing i think im jealous and then again she rarely told me anything and she comes out of no where and says she cant trust me but over the summer she said she did trust me then i lied to her about lots of stuff and she found out about it took her forever to forgive me but that was in the past right? back to the new girl... all i wanna know is should this friendship be destoryed and should i confront her i asked my sister about this she said its not worth the time and i could do better? some one help me please please!!!!!!

I know I should tell my husband to get lost when he comes back from 2 weeks away visiting his mother and sister who live abroad. He constantly lies to me and has no respect for me. After I caught him cheating, I was very civilised about it and didn't throw him out like he deserved. He says he doesn't like the commitment of marriage and is a free spirit whatever that means. He lives at home but has an apartment near his work which he bought 2 years ago which he initially moved into when I found out about his affair. he says he can't sell it yet because he is locked into a 2 year mortgage deal, which is true, but then on other days he says he has no intention of selling it. Now he is saying that he wants to stay there at least one day per week as he has to travel to work (25 Km) which I don't think is too far away.
The truth is that at 55 I am terrified of being on my own. Our daughter leaves for Uni next year and then what? At 42 he is younger than me so he has lots of choices

I stayed home from church once. My mil went to church that morning. So as I was there I saw that the kitchen was a big mess. It is mostly messy like this every Sunday. So I decided to clean up the kitchen. I did. After I was finished the kitchen was spotless and neat. Well, my sil and my mil both returned from church. My sil came into the kitchen and cooked a big Sunday meal. When she was finished cooking, every dish that I washed was right back in the sink like as if I did not wash nothing. The kitchen was a mess. My sil did not bother to clean up the kitchen. She left it dirty and messy. She went back home to Florence, South Carolina. I was so hurt because I took my time and cleaned the kitchen. My mil and sil seemed to not appreciate it. I was not looking for recognition. I just wanted the kitchen to look nice for a change. Plus I wanted the kitchen to look nice for my sil since she was visiting for that day. Did you think they noticed that the kitchen was clean?

i got remarried in 2001 to what i thought was the perfect man. after 3 yrs stopped kissing me and telling me that he loved me. Then started find lots of porn on his computer. This summer he expressed that he wanted kids of his own. i have 2 kids from lst marriage. i cant have anymore kids and he knew this when we married. was in the middle of trying to work this problem out when he recently became disabled. i don't want to leave him with out someone to care for him but now it seems that we are both very unhappy. we don't have intimate contact anymore and rarely talk. im very loney, and guilty. just because he wasn't taking our vows as seiously as me do i leave or stay now that he needs someone. but the fact remains that he wants kids of his own, and sometimes i feel that he stays with me because he is afraid now that he is disabled no one else would want him. please only serious advice. and it is okay to be totally honest. i really need the advice.

I HATE MEN. I've been working in an office for over 2 years, and am pretty close friends with some men and women. But mainly men as they're into sports, like me.

I've started to hate them though. They think of me as a friend, but just drop me when someone better comes along. I'm ok to go to the pub with and watch the football with, but other than that they just don't care.

When i'm talking to a guy friend, if a hot girl comes along, they'll just ignore me mid sentence and walk off while i'm speaking to go talk to her. My girl mates NEVER do this, they always finish talking to me before talking to a hot guy.

After a night out, i text my girl friends to check they got home ok, and they always text back, but the guys never text back, and then I find out theyve been texting some hot girl all day.

If i'm walking into town or I need a lift, my girl friends will drive me or offer to walk with me, the guys never do, but will gladly offer to someone who's gorgeous.

WHY????

My friend is way conceited. She knows she is and everything, but what she doesn't understand is how annoying it is! She tells me what a great friend or therapist or whatever she is (she isn't really a therapist) but I know it isn't true! Whenever I go to her with a problem, she says things like "oh if I were there this would have been bad!" and stuff like that that turns it into her problem instead of solving it for me! Not only this, but she also tells me lies--things I know aren't true. I ignore these lies because I don't just want to call her out or anything. What should I do?
