You don't need a mean, decietful, selfish old granny in your life!
SHE, however, is missing out on a grandchild.
If it makes you fel better, tell her you are old enough to realise that you are better off without a bitter gran poisoning your happy family life and as such are calling it quits on her, and would just like to be clear on that point.

Are you looking for a relationship with your grandmother (or dad's mom) ? It seems like there would be a problem developing one with her since she is denying you. You have a right to feel what you are feeling. You dont' deserve to be denied by her just because she and your mother don't get along. I'm sure you are angry and hurt. If that woman doesn't want you in her life for whatever reason it would be best just to let her be. Do you still talk with your step-grandma ? If you are looking for a relationship with an older person and you get along with her then it might be a good idea to talk to her when you feel angry about things between your real grandma and you.

If you can got on without her (and I think you should be just fine) then ignore her sorry ***. If you need her for something, family-wise or whatever, be polite and no more. You shouldn't waste your precious time sidling up to a woman who (sounds like) hates your mom and you.

Just ignore her. You don't really know the truth, and it doesn't matter anyway.
