I think everybody should have a romantic partner, because I think it's selfish to be unattached . I think I should have a girlfriend, but the women in my town won't cooperate . How can I handle being unattached when it goes against everything I believe in ? Jimmy the Jerk and Andy the Abuser refuse to be unattached, and I shouldn't be any different, so I refuse to be unattached . How can I get into a relationship when the women in my town won't cooperate ?

He always seems to notice every small detail and points it out. If I get a zit it's like "What's that on your face?", if my roots are comming in even the slightest bit he tells me, if he thinks my boobs are smaller he tells me, once when we were sitting in the car he thought my stomach was sticking out but it was just a roll in my shirt, if he thinks I have too much make up on or if I'm wearing less he tells me too. You get the picture. Now I mean I get insecure, but I've dated alot of guys and I get hit on often, I model part time, and my friends all say I'm pretty, even strangers do! But it makes me feel so self concious around him. I know he loves me and he does say I'm beautiful ect., but why is he always doing this?

Background: I am 27 and my bf who is 36 are currently in a temporary longdistance relationship since he moved to Cali 2 months ago. I *was* planning to move in early Jan. 2 weeks ago he dumped me by ignorning me. Won't call me, answer my calls, texts or emails all because I emailed him that he needs to put more effort towards our relationship. Havent heard from him since, I am PISSED.

Him:

- Smokes weed several times daily, says he will "stop for the right person"
- Goes to a bar EVERY DAY after work to drink beer alone
- Talked about marriage on our second date and says all he wants in life is to be married and have kids, yet he has not proposed
- Is a skater, goes to skateparks and is not good at skating, watches skating videos and reads skating mags 24/7
- Doodles on paper a lot
- Is always pissed at the world for something or the other
- Says he has had bad luck with all previous relationships
- Road rage and curses at people driving
- Great in bed
- Few friends

Little about me which I don't tell anyone publicly. My father was very absuive to the hilt for many years to my mom and family--me. Also, I was almost raped by a man at a church function just after we met. As a result I hate and despise men interiorly, but I am kind to them on a daily basis exteriorly. So why do stupid and uncaring people assume you are gay if you are not married or dating. Most people don't even know about my background or what happened to me.
I'm not saying that's why most women are not married, but it's what happened to me. Anyone else out there like that?

Satruday, while visiting my relatives, they asked me if I ever hear from my sister. I grew up as an only child and never had any knowledge of my parents having any other children.
They told me that after I was born, my father cheated on my mother and had a daughter from someone else.
I would like to find her but both my mother and father are dead. The only information they have on my sister is that her first name started with a C.
I know that is not much to go on but is their a way I could track her down. I know that she was born in Queens New York. I know my fathers name but that's all.
Do I have enough info or should I just give up the search?

we broke up not too long ago. things were great as always, we spent every minute together, she practically lived here and was going to move in 3 days before she broke up. and then out of nowhere an email saying its over, no reason nothing, then a couple days later she came by to grab all her stuff, and said it was lack of communication and she lost every feeling for me and will never be able to get them back. and belive me this is not like her she is the most emotional person i ever met. could she be on drugs?

I am planning to have my wedding and reception at the same place. It is a beautiful 3500 sq ft rectanglular site with windows on 3 sides and a great view. I just have no idea how to set it up to make the wedding flow to the reception directly afterwards. Any tips?

Ok so I met this guy about 2 1/2 months ago and we have been dating. Well last night he was at my house and he grabbed my phone, opened it and went into my txt messages. He started to read them and then started to ask who was that!!
Why did they write that. Keep in mind that we are ONLY dating (like in NOT boyfriend/ girlfriend). WTF is he doing looking at my phone. I think that its obvious that he has some trust issues. I have two friends who always hurt my feelings some way or the other. I don't talk to them much now a days. My husband and I dont get along at all ever. I honestly think I hate him. I cringe at the sound of his voice or any other noise he makes. The problem is that he thinks that this is normal. To fight all the time and not speak to eachother. I feel like he just married me to have some one to pay for things that he wants and to take care of his kids. We dont see eye to eye on anything. (we even fought about what our son was going to be for halloween) imagine us trying to find a place to live. ok so last night he wakes up in the middle of the night and wants to leave me, then 30 min. later he's sorry and wants to be with me telling me he'll never leave me. we have been arguing everyday now for a week and 1/2 and i believe i'm wrong most of the time. however i'm willing to change. now i called today to give him some news on things that we are planning and he answers the phone all with a platonic voice and i know somethings up, so i said u busy? and he says yeah? i said would u like to call me back when you're done? and he says yeah? and hangs up, i think he said bye. anyways he calls me back and i said hey, what u doing? and he's like nothing, what u call me for? (very rude) then i tell him what it was and he sounded ok then he says ok and acting all weird with a very rude voice. then i said is everything ok? and he was like yeah i gotta go and hangs up without even saying bye. now i been with him for 4 1/2 years and things are getting worse? what does this mean?

i got mad at my husband today and gave him a small kick and he flipped out and twisted my arms and squeezed them so hard i have big bruise mark in the shape of his hand, bruised my lip, and i have scratches all over my wrists and hands , too. he even held my breath for a few seconds...he says he did this just to hold me back from screaming or hitting him. i may have started but hes way stronger! im really mad at him now, but i still love him. wtvr. whos wrong?

About a month ago my boyfriend of a year and a few months (we lived together) broke up with me over text message while he was away on a military training trip (the training was 6 weeks). Later I found out it's because he met someone else (and it was obvious), How can someone say they love you and the next day they find someone else, or are interested in someone else? Where is the loyalty? He said that we were "drifting apart", my mother was in the hospital so I didn't have as much time to talk to him, and so he found someone else. I'm obviously still hurt, and am shocked that someone can move on so fast. I was really close to his child from a previous relationship, and it was so easy for him to throw everything away.

This month has been really hard. I have had to find an apartment, move all of my stuff out, along with being reminded of a failed relationship. I feel rejected and unwanted. So I guess some supportive words would be great. Thanks in advance.
