I had an affair once in my lifetime. It was the worst thing I ever did and it almost crushed everything I loved. It will never happen again no matter what happens.
Men AND women are not perfect...so it happens...on both sides. I know there are many indigent women scoffing right now, but women do have affairs. So there will never be a perfect man or women, but don't let people be so negative to sell you on the idea that everyone is sleeping with everyone. That's a terrible way to live life thinking that way. Perfect? No, a serial cheater...also no. I believe people who sell the idea that men do it all the time are just selling something to themselves to make themselves feel better about something they would just as soon not talk about.

Unless it is an open relationship the correct answer is never. But the mistress is a cliche because it is so common.

well i worked with mostly men for 4 years and could count the ones who hadnt cheated on one hand and given the opportunity without being found out, they would do it. deffinately lowered my opinion of men. all we can do is try to have sex with them when they want it and pray that one day they dont stray

But a good general answer is WAYYYY more often than should be happening.

At least half the guys in my office have at one point or another, and who knows about the information I don't know about. It's probably more than that 50%.
