My 16[-year old daughter does not come home anymore, she spends several days without coming home. Nobody knows where she is, who she is with, what she is doing. She doesn't answer her cell phone. I tried to talk to her gently, but nothing comes out of her. This happens every week since about 7 months. When she comes home, she acts as if nothing happened, then she leaves again for another few days. I am a single father with 2 other kids at home and I don't have any relative anywhere near our area. I made appointments with a counsellor but she missed them all. This situation is causing me much emotional distress, to the point where I am thinking about giving up completely (whether I give up or not doesn't make a difference because she already does what she wants). She doesn't care at all about how this is affecting me and the rest of our family. A year ago, she was such a sweet girl who enjoyed chatting with me about everything. I am at loss, desperate and depressed. What should I do?

this guy i like who has never had a gf b4 and is not confident w girls,1 night we were sorta drunk and flirted and people kept nudging us on basically. that night my crush called and left 2 voicemails one sayin Hope u got back 2 ur room OK ill im you tomorrow and he did in the morning. ppl there that night didnt mind their own business and meddled in it, nudging him on alot.he now knows ive liked him since last yr but his 1 pal told me "he doesnt have feelings 4 u all those ppl meddlin didnt help a huge amount" when i told him about the messages he said hes just stupid.my crush does not ignore me, he will randomly say hi when i ignore him (tryin 2 move on) The other nite when i hung out w ppl n he came in he said hi everybody then said hi gabby. when i ate near him once i noticed when i glanced away he looked at me.my ? is, is there a chance he lied 2 his friends about me?i wish if he didnt like me back he would leave me alone. mayb he wants 2 b pals but we werent close 2 begin with.

I have been married for 5 yrs, together 8. My husband basically ignores all my needs. He is a car salesman and uses this as an excuse to be gone ALL the time to bars. After work I expect him home and he comes home about 5+ hrs late usually drunk and cocky. He always things he is "all that" and makes false claims of how much "money he makes'. Reminding me that "you don't make that much in a month what I make in a day!" Which isn't even true! When he is home he is on the phone for hours talking and never gives our son and I any time. He has "friends" as he calls them calling here and he talks about them and I have no idea who they even are. He goes to so many bars and meets all these people he is giving our home phone out to. We never have sex. He talks down to me constantly calls me names and basically traps me in this apartment. He spends so much money we don't have going out like a teenager. This man is 40. I am sick of it and can't stand it anymore. Does he even love or need me?

yea i got in some trouble at school so my dad got really mad he says he wants to hit me always makes threats that as soon as i turn 18 he's gonna "mess me up" but not those exact words if i fight i get in more trouble if i lose than if i win with him. he always makes threats what should i do?

It has became necessary for me to have to leave my 15 year old daughter home overnight by herself one night a week. She is very mature and responsible and I feel that this is okay. My ex husband does not like the idea of this and has threatened to try to get custody of her because of this issue. However, he doesn't even want to have her for his weekend visitations. I've always considered myself a great mom, but his attitude has me second guessing myself. Am I right or wrong?

Being an OTR truck driver with my spouse, and kids on board, it's hard to find places we can get away and do the deed, without kids around. As it is, we share the bottom bunk of the truck, and the kids share the top bunk. It's great, it works for us, just like others who have families on a boat or RV. I'm out of good ideas to fool around with him. The "Girls, put your headphones on and turn it up" isn't working anymore, and my spouse and I are having trouble finding quiet time to get together. So, my question is, where or what can we do to "hide it" from our children in such closed and non-private quarters? Please remember, if you're talking outside the truck, the parking places have to be big enough to keep a big rig (18 wheeler) in. Thanks!

ppl think im emo at school i ask why do you think that they say here are reasons
1. you have cut marks on your arms (i dont EVEN think thats emo ,ppl who are not emo cut themselfs) o i dont cut myself well i did 3 yrs ago but i dont any more any way
2.hair is in my face and i flip...alot (my hair is in cool fun ways but i have a long piece of hair in my eyes all the time)
3.i sometimes look depressed
4. my feelings change alot (like happy sad,mad i think you get the point)
5. i listen to rock and metal (some other music 2 but mainly rock and metal)
6. i think emo guys are hot
and that is it now am i emo (i dont think being labeled is cool) but i need your help thanks alot

I was out walking my dog this afternoon about 4pm and I walked past a car and saw a girl about 7 years old sitting in the back seat by herself. I stopped and looked around pretending my dog was doing something to see if there were anyone near by but the street was empty. I saw this lady who was delivering pizza's come out of a apartment building and get into the car and drive away.

I don't think I would leave a 7 year old alone in a car unless I was right outside. It just kind of irked me the wrong way. What do you think?

Ok, so I have been looking at really cute invitations online. Where the invitations are $2-3 each, the save the date cards are only 1.50 each. My wedding will be small (50 or less) and casual so I like the simplicity of the save the date cards.

What do you think think of getting save the date cards.. but instead of saying invitation to follow, just saying "details are enclosed" and printing the details on cardstock my self... that way I get pretty invites but don't spend as much?

Also, second question... the wedding will be 3 hour drive for more than half of those attending... how early should i send out invitations...

Okay, I'm 17 and I've never been kissed, because all the guys that have ever approached me are losers. But now there's this guy I really like, and the only problem is, I have NO IDEA how to kiss someone. It sounds lame, but I am totally clueless. my father having an affair with a 17-18 yrs old i think and i want to stop him to do that. he is a school teacher and the girl is in college right now. one time ago the girl text my dad and asking some money for her examination fee. that makes me think sometimes not to help them. i dont want to be greedy but im just doing the right thing. it feels like im supporting my mom and bro. so he will going to do what he want. and now sometimes my mother ask me some help for their financial help and sometimes i think i dont want its because my dad just spend his money to that girl. so what do you think my right as a daughter? where i can stop him doing stupid behavior and its not good to his work as a teacher. anyone can tell me?

My bf and I got into a big fight last night, and he broke up with me this morning. The fight was about a stupid issue, but it was both of our faults. Anyway, he said he loves me, cares about me a lot, and that I'm the girl of his dreams. Even so, he can't be in this relationship. However, he told me this morning that we should talk tomorrow. I just received the following e-mail from him:

"I don't think that we should talk tomorrow. I think it is best if we just stay away from each other for a while."


What does this mean? Is there any hope for us to get back together?

When we started dating I'd always go over to spend time with my bfs family. His mom was always nice to me and everytime she spoke to him on the phone she demanded to speak to me...
But then a few months back they had an argument about him quitting his job where he wasn't happy to attend our university full-time and finish accounting in 1 year since he's a senior. She told him then how she truly felt about me...that I was a "gold digger" and I didn't really care about him that how is someone who takes care of her nails, hair, and is pretty going out with him? She basically told him how "little" she thought of our relationship...
Now they fixed things...but she STILL thinks nothing of me...I'm so hurt because I've given him EVERYTHING...I've spent over 10,000 in the past 6 months when they stopped talking to get him through school & make sure that he had food...and I just can't accept that now he talks to her without an apology...I'm not welcome there anymore...so he has to go alone..:(

thanks for the very interesting response of the the readers regarding my question of the profession we are going to take with my GF after high school. my realy concern is that if im going to be a commercial pilot taking care of my passenger to be safe to our destination and my GF is going to be a doctor taking care of the sick which brings us to different time zones, if we get married who will take care of our kids. im going to Indiana Aerospace University to take BA Aviation Major in Flying Course and my GF is going to Mary Hopkins University to be a doctor..by then we will be far from each other. is this a good set up? is this doom for break up soon? i love her since she my GF since i was 14 my only one if infact and i guess she the woman i like to marry someday. right now at 16 y/o we plan of having sex but we put it on hold due the advices of the readers but most of all i think this can wait but for how long when we will be far away from each other. hoew about if other girl come?

I love her to death, but she is so full of anxiety and worry she beats me up inside, it's almost like abuse, but she doesn't mean it. She cries once a day...is this normal? If what comes up isn't on her agenda it seems like it's not an option. I've tried to talk to her about it, but all I get is an "I know" and "what do you want me to do about it?" She refuses to get professional help. I have tried all I can. She told me I could go back to school and now we are starting to run out of money and it's making her sweat. She is quitting her job because it is too hard on her, so that doesn't help. I love her to death and she isn't that bad, for about 30 minutes, and on weekends lol. What do you think, is there anything I can do or am I stuck for the rest of my life? And is it really normal for someone to cry more than four times a week? Thanks!

Ok. So me and my girlfriend both went to a school dance this last week. She said for the first hour of the dance she wants to dance with her friends and such and she'll meet up with me later. So I'm thinking ok its kinda weird, but i respect that, she can have her space. But 15 minutes into the dance i get about 3 people telling me shes looking for me. And i end up dancing with her the entire night. Now this whole split up the time thing between friends and dates is not new to her. She did this to her last boyfriend. Ok so I'm in a public bathroom and the guy in the stall next to mine keeps tapping his foot and putting it closer to mine. Not only that but he keeps swiping his hand underneath the stall divider. I don't know what he wants. What do I do?
