I was curious if anyone knew how to register at different stores at theknot.com website.... we don't want to register with macys and it seems thats the only option.. or am I missing something? Is it also possible to register with and electronics store like Best Buy?
We also are not sure how to address the type of attire we would like folks to wear. we dont want people showing up in jeans and t-shirts, although we don't want people to feel obliged to go out and buy suites. Any idea or how to word that? Thanks!

When I was about 5 or 6, I was in my bedroom watching t.v. and this family friend's son comes in my room. He pins me to my bed and is basically on top of me, before I knew it his tonge was almost in my mouth. I was trying to fidget out of arms as he had me pinned to the bed. Is this sexual harassment or rape?

My 13 year old daughter started high school this week. Her school is 6 blocks away from home. I told on the first day that she needs to call me when she gets home from school everyday and she doesn't want to. I ask her why and she said that she is worried that when her 10 year old sister is in high school, she will not have to call me when she gets home from school everyday. She is afraid that her sister will have more freedom than her. I told her that her sister will have to call me everyday too and I care about their safety equally and she doesn't believe me. She said her sister always get away with everything and it is not fair. I admit that my younger one got more freedom, but I would still make my 10 year old call me everyday afterschool when she is in high school soon. I understand that my 13 yr old feel unfair. She will not do something bad behind my back, but I still need her to call me everyday afterschool because I fear her safety. I trust her 100%. I only don't trust others.

I just found a new boyfriend almost two months ago. He seems like a very nice person. He says he really likes me, he calls me every single night and we talk for hours. He is funny, sweet, romantic and charming. He always asks me to tell him everything that's happening in my life and that he is the one I'm supposed to look to for support. I'm in college now and if I don't go to school one day for some reason he get upset and says I'm joking with my life; this kinda shows me that he actually cares about me. He introduced me to all his close friends even the ones that live far away. I really like him but with all men he has problems. 1. He can't really dress i.e. he dresses really simply but when we are going out he doesn't even try to go a little extra with it. 2. He is not really educated - he graduated from high school but that's where it ended as he plays professional soccer now. He doesn't speak with correct grammar and sometimes my friends laugh. Do you think I should stay with him?

Okay so i like this guy , and yes he knows i do . I got my friend to ask him if he had a girlfriend and he said yea . Then he goes why? Then my friend told him cuz one of my friends likes you ... then he goes who? Ok so I don't have a boyfriend. I am 17 years old and have had one boyfriend when I was 15 and it only lasted a month or so. I can see myself with a boyfriend and sometimes wish for a boyfriend but don't want one usually. Am I just really independant? I do like to be alone a lot. I like it when i'm the only one in my house out of all my family members. I do have friends and enjoy spending time with them but I like it when i'm alone. I want to have a baby when i'm around 25 or so but am I just doomed to not be with any guy? I am really shy and I do like a few guys but I never really talk to any guys and don't really want a boyfriend a lot of the time. Am I just so independant that I will never need a boyfriend?

Tonight, I almost cried in the subway station and as I was walking home. Lately, it hurts to see happy couples in love, and babies. I'm still healing from a series of breakups. Just casual dating. One almost got serious, but I put an end to it when I discovered the guy was basically a player. The other, well, I just got tired of all his phone calls and empty promises--all talk and no action. So, I put myself on a much needed break from dating. Now I feel horrible whenever I come home from teaching, hanging out with friends, or a gig. Prayer, reading, meditation, and dvds usu. help. But not tonight. I'm just so sad.

This is so weird. Usu. I'm the one helping other people. Now I'm the one who needs the help of someone with a heart. I just got finished admitting to another Y/A member that one of my biggest fears is that I'm going to die in my apartment alone and no one will figure it out until they miss me at school or I miss a gig. :) Help me.

I've been married almost 4 years and we have a child together. I never married my husband under normal circumstances meaning, dated each other, fell in love and had a wedding etc. I met him, barely knew him, was never really attracted to him, and then married him 3 months later and got pregnant a month later and have just been "putting up" with him for these years. I've wanted to divorce him many times in the past but couldnt because of my daughter and now I'm extremely attracted to this guy and I think he feels the same way about me. He goes out of his way to see me, he always finds me and the clue that gave it away was he came to my house to see my kitchen to do some comparison but left after three seconds. ok theree is this guy (of course). and we were "talkin" earlier this year then we stopped then we tried again but he told me he couldnt be with me cuz he didnt wanna hurt me and i could do better. ((he also was like "ima regret forever i couldnt be man enough for u)). so now...its sumthin about him that i cant let go. so i tried talkin to him again. and i told him how i felt. and he said sumthin about when we were talkin before we went on seperate pages. and so i asked him did he care for me..he asked me what did i think. i said no he told me that was a negative..but he didnt look at me the whole time...so yesterday he told me he was gonna call me so we could talk and i waited up for him but he never called. i texted him like 4 times and he replied once...so i asked him..was i wastin my time carin for him and he texted back "idk" so i asked him y..and he didnt reply....i care for him so much but im about to just say **** u..and move on.

I been with my boyfriend for 8 months and we are in love. but my boyfriend before him cheated on me with 5 girls so I have serious trust issues. I always accuse my boyfriend of cheating and that makes him really mad. he has a short temper an it hurts him and upsets him when I accuse him of cheating so today we had a huge fight because of that and he told me that it was over, he told me to never call him and to forget his number and never talk to him since I have an attitude and cant trust him. I met a great guy online over a year ago and developed a great frienship and chemistry until things became physical during this past summer. We have acknowledged each others feelings and do have intentions to settlle down and not into playing games. I recently met his parents a few weeks ago. He has huge responsibilities on his shoulders: father diagnosed with 2 different cancers and starting chemo in a couple of weeks; he is the sole financial provider in his household; he attends college part-time. He always calls or comes to me if he needs to take a load off his chest and is also very close to his family. He had not called me in th past week. What I need advice on and true guidance for, I do not want any scenes from "Fatal Attraction" and I am not the "jealous" woman because anger is such a waste of energy and I do believe giving someone space when they need it. I've fallen. How do I still try to call, email, or text him on how he is without "appearing" desperate"?

I have a little brother. Theres nothing wrong with him and he looks ok. He's only in the 2nd grade. Then one day he showed me the girl he liked. I told him to talk to her. He then said "no I'm too ugly" I wondered why. Then I see him play with another kid and he always calls him butt head and ugly. Does the little kid mean it or is he just trying to be mean. okay so theres this cute guy whos a grade ahead of me. i see him every other day right b4 5th period and during 5th period...he looks at me and i look at him and sometimes he'll poke his head into our classroom and look at me and then start talking to someone in our class...hes really cute and just won homecoming prince and now hes a big target for other girls....should i even bother with him? and if i should how can i talk to him or get him to talk to me???
