When I was about 5 or 6, I was in my bedroom watching t.v. and this family friend's son comes in my room. He pins me to my bed and is basically on top of me, before I knew it his tonge was almost in my mouth. I was trying to fidget out of arms as he had me pinned to the bed. Is this sexual harassment or rape?

When I was about 5 or 6 he was around like 15 or 16 or something like that. Umm, I told my parents about it when I was younger but they just acted as if I were making it up. Just about every time I see him I tell my parents, but they just brush it off..

It wouldn't be rape because the definition of rape is "forced intercourse". Unless you mean he did more than force his tongue in your mouth and pin you down?
I don't think its so much sexual harassment as it is some sort of "sexual violation". A violation is abusive or destructive treatment of something. I'd say its more than sexual harassment. It was forceful and containing but if not intercourse than not rape. Something of a lesser degree maybe sexual assult?
I am sorry you were treated that way. If your parents are brushing it off, tell someone else. Maybe a counseler at school. A boy 15-16 knows very well what he was doing to a little girl! Tell until someone listens. He might even do things to other girls.

i don't think it legally constitutes as rape, but definitely harassment or maybe even sexual assault.
did you ever tell anyone about this?

i would suggest assault at least --- sexual harassment is not in the same league as this ---- i would suggest getting advice from a professional such as the police ---- best wishes

Neither, it's sexual assault and you should tell someone.
But, assuming he was the same age as you it's unlikely that anything can happen to him legally.
