You still have feelings for this person. Is your relationship over for good? Hate is an ugly emotion, but are you asking if you should hate? Only you know that answer. The opposite of love is not hate, it is indifference. You need to reach that point where you are not interested in anything this person does or says. You have no wish to see or talk to him or her, By all means, remain friendly and casual. But if you are hoping to impress this person or anyone else just because you don't feel hate, this means your emotions are still up in the air about this problem.

Love and hate have a very strong connection. This is why family wise or civil war wise or any relationship wise it's the most dangerous and violent.

yes.that's what happens when you fall in love with the wrong person.the wrong person comes into your life.and they lie to you, make you think they care.and like a fool, you believe them.
then after that, they leave your life.after they break your heart.it all comes back to that old song,''looking for love in all the wrong places.''we often tend to look for,as well as find,''love''in people who aren't worthy of our love.real love, isn't tormenting and disappointing.real love is beautiful.and liberating.loving them isn't painful.if anything,it's the most wonderful experience of your whole life.

yea my ex left me and our 2 kids 6 years ago (he went to prison). he never really took care of us or anything because he got hooked on drugs. i loved him so much..... i tried to save him but couldn't. now 6 years have passed and he is out but now i have more kids with my husband who is a good man. i want to hate my ex so bad but i can't. we talked a few times since he got out (we do have 3 kids together) i wanted to tell him all about our kids and all that he has missed out on. but my husband says that he don't deserve to know nothing until he proves to be a man and the father to these kids. so yea i loved him at one point and now that i have a new love, someone who has done nothing but be good to me i should hate my ex but i can't.

Many women stay in abusive relashionships because of this.
There are many types of abuse. It can be hard to break the cycle and see clearly what's at the other side.

yeah, it depends on how bad they hurt you. you can just try and give them for their mistake and slowly rebuild your relationship with that person. if you truly love them then its to hard not to forgive them.
