Two weeks ago, my dad was extremely busy making dinner and I was helping him in the kitchen and he wanted my mum and older sister to be home by 6:30 pm so we could all sit down and have a family dinner and then at 7 pm he would leave cause he has an business appointment. He wanted them home at 6:30 on the dot.

My mum called home 10 minutes before 6:30 and said they were leaving the office now, and he got really mad cause then he wouldn't have to waste his time waiting for them to come home and wouldn't have had to make dinner so early (he could've been doing other things). When they came home, he started screaming at her saying how come you only called 10 minutes before 6:30, why didn't you call earlier? and other stuff. She started screaming back at him and threw a spoon at him and then he blew up and said he wasn't eating dinner with us and stormed out of the house.

He spent three nights sleeping in the living room and said he wouldn't forgive her unless she apologized to him

I am 14 years old, my mom and dad have been divorced since I was 3.I live with my mom and stepdad and little brother. I don't really have much to do with my dad as he don't have much to do with me. The question I have is how old do I have to be to deside when I what to see my dad if at all.I order by the courts to go to my dads every other weekend and split holidays.I live in Minnesota, what are my rights? 14 and need to know.

I have been going out with this guy for a couple days, a week on Tuesday. He's always been so nice. When getting to know me, I couldn't bring myself to look at him. I am an very shy person. He seemed a little put off by it, but kept trying to pursue me and being friendly. We talk a lot on myspace and sometimes on the phone. Sometimes he'll pause and ask why we cannot talk at school the way we do outside of school.
I told him about my plans to see a therapist, to work on my shyness and other things. He said he liked me just the way I was, and I believed him. A week or so later he asked me out and I asked twice if it was what he really wanted. He said yes, that it would make him very happy. Lately, he seems annoyed/exasperated and sometimes desperate to get a look at me. He makes little remarks. He made me feel bad by asking my eye color, that he's only seen me twice. I can't help but think this is his fault. Why did he ask me out in the first place then? Any tips for overcoming shyness?

Ok..... i am 20 my fiance is 19, we have been together for 7 years her mother gaive up all her children out of desperation. My fiances little brother is 15, his first placement did not treat him "fairly" so we took guardianship. when we first got him he got into a liquer cabinet and almost died of alcahol poising, we have caught him stealing money, we have caught him smoking pot, he has bad grades in school, when we first got him he got expelled from school for violence. What can i do to correct him, hes a good kid but he likes to stand out he loves attn. me and my fiance are full time students and full time employees we give him everything we can including expensive clothing and a flashy cell phone....hes spoiled. we have tried removing video games and computers and cell phones and everything imaginable but nothing seems to work. We are his last hope please some serious suggestions.

i am a newly wed....and guess what? i have absolutely no desire to have sex.
you can imagine the stress that is already adding to the relationship.
he and i were sexually active at the start of our relationship- then realizing that we wanted to base our relationship on other things- not that- and put The Lord first- we stopped.
so, for a year we went without major contact.
i am not sure if this is all a mental block that i have created- bc i wanted to do the right thing or if something is really wrong with me.
can anyone relate? any suggestions?????

Im a hetrosexual guy, but i like to look nice.

By look nice i mean i dont want spotty skin, pale skin and bushy eyebrows. So i use a face wash and toner on my skin to stop spots, use a fake tan (it doesnt look orange.. you cant tell its fake), because i have very very pale skin, which doesnt tan in the sun easily, and have to get my eyebrows waxed every 3 weeks or so otherwise i end up with an unobrow and LOADS of other random hairs all over the place.

I can garentee that at least two guys and one girl will call me gay. But im not... i LOVE girls.

My question to you is, if you started dating a guy and found out 4 weeks into the relationship he did this.. what would you think? would it change your opinion of him?

one thing i do want to say is that im not high maintenance. to use a face wash and toner takes 30 seconds.. putting a fake tan on take 15 mins once every week, and the eyebrows 2 mins once every 3 weeks.

There's this girl at my school that I like who's really cute and I think likes me, but I'm not sure. She smiles at me alot and asks me all the time to sit with her at lunch. I have been living and sharing expenses with the same person for over three years and have discovered banking activity for just her. I first asked if what she used the account for and she told me she was saving money for a mutual purpose. I asked about the balance and she said she was putting extra money into a loan payment which made automatic deductions ; a savvy savings plan; but not the part that angers me. I searched around and found receipts. A deposit over $3000 was made and at present it is about $400. The deposit was from her selling stock shares. She told me that she got $1000 for the transaction. Then as we discussed it further, a rental property income was deposited into that same account for $1000. Now in my mind that is $4100 that is now unaccounted for.
I had been working overtimethis past summer and all I earned is not in the savings, as we had planned.
I feel hurt, ignorant and resentful for the mismanaging of our money and her lack of honesty. Is this a forgivable?

My fiance and I are getting married privately December 2007 and we have decided to not have a BIG traditional reception after party like we had planned, so we have decided to come up with another way to have fun and still receive nice gifts from our family and friends. We thought about a Housewarming, but we re moving into an Apartment and its not big enough to fit all our family and friends, then we thought about calling it a Post Marriage Party, something of that sort, we just need some ideas of what to title the party...

And What are some ideas to have at the party, we want it to be non traditional but FUN, we thought about ticket raffling, different games, and we also need a theme. Its a party for about 80 ppl at the most. Pls help us we need your help????

I think most of us have heard that phrase "for better or for worse." Is it really worth it though? I ask people on here and they give me the same answers, "Sorry, honey, you married him and you're stuck. You married for better or worse, remember? Now quit being selfish!"

I think that life is just too short to still be married and have your life become worse. What if that person is being beaten up physically, emotionally, or feeling unloved? Is it really worth it to just stay in the marriage just for the sake of marriage? What if you've done what you could do already and nothing's changed? Do you think that person has turned back on his/her vows when he/she finally decides to divorce because the marriage has gotten worse?

Tonight is my 34th weding anniversary and every year he sits there like a big kid waiting for his presents, and never gets me anything. He doesen't even bother opening his cards. Whatever the occasion, I've never had anything from him. Not even when the kids were born. Not even a daisy from the garden! He's had everything you can think of and all he says to me is I'll get you something tomorrow, but he never does. My kids have grown up sick of his uncaring attitude and non interest in everything. Well right now he's sitting downstairs and I've bought him nothing for the first time, he's expecting a gift which is not coming. But Im getting scared, I can't take drinks off him anymore, I've caught him crushing up tablets in my tea cup a few times, and found open condoms in his wallet. I've confronted him, but he denies it. He's worked permament nights in a hotel for 8 years. I've tried talking to him, but he's to bad tempered and angry. I have nowhere to go. What should I do?

My fiance recently brought up pre-marital counseling and suggested we look into it. His main reasoning was that we should think/talk about things like children. He proposed to me after 9 years of dating, and we will have been together (living together also) for 10 years at the time of the wedding. After all the research I've done, I cannot seem to find any bases that would be covered in this session that we have either not covered already or are not capable of covering on our own. While many people say 'what have you to lose', I can't help but think 'oh, about $300 that could go toward the event that we are paying for with no help and saving for while he finishes college. I love him dearly, and will do whatever he needs- so if he says this is important, it is what we will do. However, I need to know that this is the best use of our hard-earned money. It is not easy for a fresh college grad to save for a wedding while supporting her graduate student fiance.

and the business went bust. They went bust 22 years ago but They are still paying (well she is) off the debt. Her ex wont pay any money back and is drinking heavily. It was his business but she was a partner. Is there any way she could make him pay or get out of the rest of the payments? She wants a divorce, will that help?
