What do you mean? Just friends right? He or She is still the same person that you love as a friend, nothing should change. If he or she decided to tell you this than they obviously trust you and need to share. I'm sure this is a really hard thing to live with. Be there for him/ her. If you have questions or feel awkward give your friend respect and be honest and open about it.

You must ask yourself whether or not you are comfortable continuing your relationship now that you are aware of your friend's sexual identity. If it inspires discomfort in you, and therefore affects your ability to communicate on the same level as before, then you and your friend may be better off severing ties. If not, you may end up closer friends than you were before the revelation.

That's awesome! I wish I had a hermaphradite friend! I know it's probably hard but try to treat them like you did before you knew. They can't really help that they were born that way and only wanted to be accepted. Good luck!!

Who else in world do you know that is a hermaphrodite or has a best friend who is? Consider your relationship a rarity! Does it really change anything? So what's the problem?
