The best advice I give any bride is to make your wedding traditionally YOURS. You will have a billion people telling you whats "in" and trendy and "traditional" for the season, etc... Do things your way...it's your day and about you and your fiance. Whatever you do and however you do it should reflect you and make you happy. If you absolutely don't know where to start there are plenty of books and online resources but don't let them or any friends or family hijack your fairytale lol Best wishes

If money is not an issue, go ahead and hire a wedding planner, they will help you in every detail regarding the wedding you would like.
If it's not possible, then try looking for wedding planning books, there are plenty too choose from, and you will get descriptions of all types of weddings, from the informal to traditional. You can even try looking for information on the internet. I planned my own wedding, and bought books and researched on line, and it came out really beautiful.
Which ever way you choose to go, it will be stressful, but remember to enjoy planning every detail and have fun! It's so exciting to plan a wedding.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

Try getting some ideas from the Martha Stewart magazines, she has some really pretty ones.
