Married 28 years. Husband cheated and had an affair. He asked for divorce. Settled out of court. The trauma of all of this still haunts me after 4 years. Does it ever go away and does life ever go back to normal? At 53, I did not think I would be struggling in life. This has been too much to handle.

I broke up with my girlfriend of 2 years recently and I have been utterly depressed. I still love her, and I can't stop thinking about her. We broke up for complicated, but not unresolvable reasons. I have tried many times to tell her how much I love her and want us to work, but she just tells me she needs time to figure out what she wants. She does not know if she wants to be with me or to be single. What makes this hard is she used to be desperately in love with me to the point that she demanded me 24/7. Now she wants me to not talk to her. What should I do? How do I move on? I try to stay busy, but even when I'm busy I think about her. I feel so lonely. All I want is to be with her again. I cry every night and it is so hard not to contact her and tell her i love her. But I know I need to move on because this is not healthy. How can I force myself to feel better and shield myself from this pain? How does one forget the one they love and thought they were going to marry?

What type of circumcision does your son have tight, loose or in the middle? I'm looking for my son to have a tight one so he doesn't have to deal with any extra skin. Is there a certain type of circumcision that anyone adovcates from their personal expriences. thanks

My mom just told me the other night while i was laying down with our boys my husband took the phone and made a very secretive call to someone who my mom thinks may be named loretta, and she thinks my husband has been cheating on me.... I dont know what to do, she told me not to say anything to my husband, because she lives with us and he helps me take care of her, she is suffering from dementia and i am wondering if she is imagining it ??? what would u all do would u confront your husband or would u wait to see what happens??? we just came home last weekend from a wonderful marriage retreat and i found new hope for our marriage but now i am sooooooooooo confused please any and all advice will be appreciated, but please i beg of all of u dont get nasty ok??????? just tell me how u would handle this???? thanks bunches and god bless each and everyone who answers.....

About 2 hours ago I went down to the store to get a phone card and a news paper for my dad, I came back and noticed I forgot the newspaper. My dad gets kind of annoyed that I forgot it, and I said I would go back to get it. I was hungry and thirsty so I got a snack and a drink, and this is when he gets really pissed off. He says that when you forget something, you should correct your mistake (which I I told him I was going to), and he just waltzes out of the house and goes down to the store to get the newspaper himself. When I was apologizing he said that my mom and I never have any respect for him or anything he does. The truth is that everything I do is for my parents. I'm a good student in school, I dont do drugs, I'm taking AP classes to get ready for college, etc... What do I do?

My husband is in the Millitary in another state working, he threatens me over the phone, in a sexual way, for when he returns, not caring about what I don't want, or any pain, he said he is a sexual deviant, I am home taking care of the children, but these threats scare me, what should I do, legally? for myself and my children.

She is very likely having an affair now and has designated me as the enemy. I would like to save the marriage - there are also children involved. She is going to counseling - but is not ready to accept a bpd diagnosis. Is there any hope that she removes me from "enemy" status? I have removed all conflict and disagreement - yet I am still viewed as an enemy, cannot do anything right - and she does not love me anymore and does not think she ever can. Should I walk away and try to seek full custody of our kids or should I hang in there as long as she is participating in counseling?

I used to play in a rock band 10 years ago, make a long story short. i was having an affair with my drummer and rythm gutarist, ok ok yes it was wrong. because i had a long time boyfrend at that time.(who was VERY abusive) my drummer and my lead I had many sexual encounters. (seperate) No 3 somes.well I ended up pregnant. and kept the baby neither one of them knew that the baby could have been either of theirs. 2 days ago, I saw my drummer, at community mental health,(HE WORKS THERE) I hadn't seen him in almost 8 years. my youngest child has autism,who is 8. and was checking up on his meds. I almost died. I KNOW this man and he should not BE picking peoples brains.now they want him to become my sons case manager, with means (HIM) comming to my home, and spending time with his, 8 year old (possably). I cannot ask for another case manger, due to the fact they have very limited resourses. and I REALLY don't want people finding out what I had done.I am hapilly married now for 8 years.

I have a problem. We may have had a couple of cards go missing in our wishing well after our wedding. I don't want to be rude and not thank somebody. What would be the proper wording for a thank you card to someone your not sure bought you a gift? I don't want to come right out and ask if they put a card in the well, but I don't want to be rude and not thank them either.

so my mom and her bf had a bad breakup and she had no where to live so i told her to stay with me until she can get her own place. i live with my boyfriend and we have an extra bedroom so i thought it would be no prob. but now i feel taken advantage of...she brings her new bf (of like 3weeks lol) over all the time with out asking me about it, he spends the nite, they lock thereselves in her room and dont come out unless they're leaving my house. she never goes to his house for some reason...plus, one reason she wanted to move close to us (all her kids) was because she wanted to spend more time...and she's not. only with her "bf"...she says shes trying to save money for her own place so she doesnt have to rely on us 4evr, but she's always going out with him to places that cost $..everynite! my dad bought her a cell phone to help her out a little to find a job (before she moved in with me) and now she told my dad not to call unless its an emergency cause she's "with someone" im pissedddd

My hubby's sis has always been nasty to me. She always makes indirect comments towards me that make me feel small all the time. My MIL defo knows what her daughters doing but pretends to act like she likes me. As soon as I show them I am insecure about something they use it against me. For e.g I feel upset that I have gained a little weight recently from a size 8 to a 10, my in laws know this because I am so open. Recently I have limited my time with them becase of the nasty rumours they spread about me. Me & my MIL were in the supermarket & she told me that I have gained weight, this is not true I have actually lost weight but thats besides the point. What upsets me is the way my hubby's family try to use my insecurities to put me down. I want to be able to stick up for myself. I want to play them at there own game but I dnt know how? What should I do the next time my MIL or SIL say things like that

My mum hates giving me a lift to dance and she hates me practising. She totally dosen't care about what's important to me or what I want. The rest of my family feels the same except for my father. I don't even want to convince my mother that dance isn't a waste of time I just want her to get off my back and let me do what I dream.
