Go and take some food to her, stop at taco bell or whatever, and bring it to her. Say that you thought she might be hungry and you didn't want her to be working late without having dinner. See who she is working with and what they're doing. If she is alone with someone, she MAY be having an affair.
Of course, don't tell her ahead of time that you'll be bringing her some food, just show up and see if you can bust her.
Oh, and if she works in a place that you can't get into at night, then wait outside near enough to her car to see her come out, whether she is alone or not, and what happens. But don't be seen, yourself..

You are awfully paranoid, and must have further reasons to think she is cheating. Many people work late, and have deadlines to meet. There are also many many excuses to use for cheating. If this is just a 1 time thing where you are wondering, then that's very annoying. However, if you have multiple reasons, and her behavior leads you to believe that, then you need to investigate further. If the wife isn't cheating, then there is nothing worse than having a husband paranoid about it. That would be a turn off, and you'd need to get some confidence. If she is having an affair, then it's a different story. But just based on what you are asking, No you shouldn't be worried. Possibly follow up with a phone call while she's "at work" just to verify. Or drive by to see if her car is there to give you piece of mind. But don't tell her you did that, if she is working.

I worked once 22 hours straight and only came back home 8 in the morning. My fiance works over night sometimes. And no, neither of us are having the affairs. It's called "a deadline". But if you wonder, you must be having some trust issues and your marriage is heading towards divorce.
I work with my supervisor alone a lot, especially when we need to meet the deadlines. I have no interest in him, neither does he. I am happily engaged, he has a girlfriend. So just because we work together alone sometimes, it doesn't mean that we are having affairs. You guys make me sick.

not necessarily because there are some jobs where that is necessary but if you become too possessive and she is not, she may start then to have one. Talk to her about it, what she had to do and the like, when she gets home, and sympathize with her If she does it often, then you can wonder and call her at work to see if she is really there - on an office phone, not a cell perhaps but give her the benefit of the doubt until you have more reason than just the fact that she had to work late to be suspicious about.

The real question is, does she regularly call him when her work schedule has gone awry. If so, then she is checking in and performing, as usual. However, if she is the type that calls occasionally, sounds as though she is fumbling through the call, or if she sounds (background) as though she is calling from a social gathering place, like a bar. Then she is probably having an affair. One has to know with whom they are dealing with, I speak from a place of experience, due to the fact that my spouse; performs in a similiar fashion. She rarely calls and when she does, it is not because of her desire to, but because of my request that she does so. A complete and total farce....terrible isn't it?

Not necessarily. There have been many occasions I had to stay late to finish a project.....and I wasn't having an affair. Sometimes work is just work.

Amazing how you can read so much into something so small, isn't it? I doubt she's having an affair. Unless this becomes habitual, she's probably doing exactly what she says she is.

OH YEAH. She might even be out buying you a gift or something. How bad would that be. I sure hope you have other reasons for being suspicious...
