My bf and I have been talking about the future a lot lately. Our relationship is great and it's getting to point where we're planning on moving in with each other. Marriage is definitely in the air. He hasn't asked yet and I don't know why. I'm done with college but he still has another year so he hasn't been able to save a lot of money. It will be a long time before he can buy a diamond. But I don't care! I don't want to wait any longer! I'd be happy with a cz and maybe replace the stone with a diamond later. Is that cheesy? I haven't mentioned that to him. Should I? We're planning on getting married next fall. I'm ready to get engaged but I don't want to rush him. What should I do? My dream has always been to get engaged on christmas eve. I'll be so disappointed if he doesn't!

Just curious if women over 40 are into that at all. Because of menopausal issues, does this change a women's curiousity for that sort of stuff. Just wondering.

lastnight me and my bf were talking about our relationship in the car and it was time for me to go inside, so i got out of the car and asked him to lean over and give me a hug, well, i didnt realize he was going to put his hands down the back of my pants and i wasnt thinking, so i immediatly slapped the side of his face with my hand.....

he got sooo pissed and said **** you. i kept apologizing to him because i felt bad, but he still said he didnt want to talk and that ii should just go inside.

i feel horrible :( what should i do? he's still mad i did that.
even though it was just a reaction i had.

I flicked my hair when I walked past this guy who is 2 years older than me in school to try and get his attention and he just stared at me for about 5 seconds like he was thinking about something and then he said "do your tie up a bit there" and he did my tie up for me.
Why did he do this?
Does it mean anything?

Is flirting cheating? we are not married but have been dating for 5 years. all his friends do know that we been dating for 5 years. but stilll all his friends who are girls seems to be alittle touchy touchy. i know this becausse my bf invited me to his party. is hugging flirting? I'm very koreanized so hugging is very no-no in korean tradition but my bf was born here so he is more of twinkie... (more americanized). Can friends hug? can they touch? is flirting cheating?

my bf think flirting is not cheating because he confesses that he been dating me for 5 years. he just plays along with his friends and says that when they touch him, he claims its a friendly touch.

Now I know that getting along with family members are a must but this is starting to wear on me. My gf (future fiance in 2 months) is such a great person. She is so sweet and has a personality that litterally, lights up the room. I have never been anywhere with her where she didnt make immediate friends and conversations with perfect strangers.

With this said, it constantly seems like her mother, who she recently roommated with to ease the financial burden on her mother during her mothers divorce, has constantly rode her. Shes 33 years old but her mom treats her like shes 17. Constantly riding her and telling her what to do.

Ive tried so hard to stay out and just supply words of encouragement but its getting really hard to stand by and watch this. I dont want to cause problems with my future mother in law but this is getting very, very old. I really dont like people pushing her around like this.

What do I do?

I was invited to a themed shower where everybody is given a different time of day to shop for. I was given "bedtime."

Problem is, I already bought her two place settings before the invitations went out. And I got them on sale, and the store was an hour away, so I don't really want to return them. I didn't know about the theme. Should I return the place settings and get her a different gift? Is it very obnoxious to disregard the theme and give dishes when my time is bedtime?

I don't want to ask the hostess (her mother) to switch my "bedtime" to another time because I figure the invites went out already and that would cause problems if everyone wanted to switch.

BTW, I am the maid of honor.

I really care about him, he's a wonderful person, and I'm ready to take it to the next step. Problem is, he doesn't know that I know about him being bisexual, and will he cheat? Will he always have that urge to be with a man on occassion? I don't have very much experience with things like this. I've never dated anyone bisexual, so I don't know what to expect. What are your opinions on the subject?

Thank you!

I plan to send out wedding invitations soon. I have a few guests who have significant others but are not married or engaged to them. When I send the invitation, do I include the name of the significant other or just address them as "guest?"

My cousin has been cohabitating with his girlfriend, but do I address her by name on the invitation? They are neither married nor engaged, nor are planning on it anytime soon.

I have a cousin who has a pretty serious boyfriend at the moment but is not engaged. Should he be mentioned by name?

I also have a distant relative who has been dating her boyfriend for 12 years. He comes to all family events, they live together but are not engaged or married or plan to anytime soon. Should he be addressed by name given that I'm not inviting him directly but only through my distant relative?

I work as a waitress in a restaurant at the state fair. One of the waiters there keeps making suggestive remarks to me. I'm 20, he's probably around 50. He'll say he loves me, or that he wants to marry me and get me pregnant so I can have his babies. Any time I'm standing alone waiting for customers to come in, he'll come up behind me and rub my shoulders, or put his arm around me. When he leaves, he half-hugs me. I've already tried asking him to please stop touching me. I'm in a committed relationship with my current boyfriend, but he's out of town visiting family right now and won't be back until the fair is over, so he can't come ask the guy to stop too. It's getting worse every day, and today is my fourth shift there and I am really dreading going in. I know he'll be there. I feel bad though, because he's worked there for longer than I have and I think they'll take his word over mine... plus he needs the money more than I do, it's a second job for me.. I don't know, help please!

I have been trying to walk away from a seriously abusive mother for many years. I don't want to get into it, or sound insensitive, but how do I just walk away? I know it is going to hurt...but I need to keep myself safe.

Harshness will not work. I want to find answers and I think I would have a better chance of finding out from her than from him. She probably doesn't even know he's married so I don't blame her if she didn't know.

My wife had a costume bunko party last night. She dressed to the hilt as a french maid! Well, instead of changing out of it when she got home at 9:30, she continued to parade around me lifting her skirt while pretending to vacuum and dust everything. I kept trying to touch her and pull her over to me, but she kept knocking my hand away with her feather duster saying "you need to wait sir!" The fishnets and heels were just killing me! Finally midnight granted some relief, a couple of hours worth! Does it get any hotter than that?!?!

Why are you in a relationship w/ that person?
What made you settle down w/ that person?
What does that person do to make you want to stay w/ them?
What did that person do to even make you want to consider them over anyone else?
I'm just asking for fun, no worries!

I'm getting married on November 10th and am curious as to when I'm supposed to start/finish all the legal paperwork for becoming an offical married couple.

Of course I will get the marriage license done this week but I'm speaking about the name change, joing bank accounts, insurance policies, etc. Can I jsut wait and take care of all of that when I return from my honeymoon?

Also, does anyone know what all I have to do in order to change my name in the State of Florida? Just go to the DMV? What else do I need to remember to change? Car title, etc?

Thanks!

I have this guy friend who i have known since jr. high. And we have always been close friends....we even tried being friends with benefits before....well now he is single, and i really wanted to ask him what he thought about us trying to date...to see what it would be and where it would go, but i don't know what to do or how to approach him!!! He and I are reallllllllllll close and i don't want to mess up our friendship.

P.s. He and I can talk about anything...literally anything!!! Should I be brave and take that leap, or just stand back and let it be?

Should married couples share every single cent (shared bank account, share money, etc.) ?

Or should couples still have a bit of separation?

I'm just trying to find out why you cheated? I walked the thin line of perfection with my guy, very virtuous woman, homemaker, bring home the bacon, clean, organized, chef, backrubs, footrubs, spicy sex intitated by me, gave space, took space.....His friends loved me, his family loved me, he "loved me" and we got engaged. We moved into together and then he cheated. So why did he cheat? What was it that caused you to cheat on someone that was the "right" one? Why would you risk the relationship for a 15 minute session?

My mother filed for divorce from my faithful father of 32 years 3 weeks ago. 4 days prior to the court date, she attempts suicide by taking 80 Prozac, and calls 911. When I arrive at the hospital, my family tries to tell me that she only filed for divorce to scare my dad and get his attention, they tell me there was a suicide letter left, but give no info on what it said. At this point my family will not call me, will not answer my calls, nothing. When I left the hospital Saturday I was aware that they would be sending my mother to a psych ward 30 miles away, but did not know when. I asked my family to call me ASAP to tell me what was going on and what I needed to do to help her. No word from any of them yet, and it is Tuesday. Help me figure out how I became the bad guy in this and possibly why I cannot get any information about my mother through anyone.

-What Cruise line/ Sandal's Resort was it on?
-Who all did you invite? (family, friends, etc.)
-How did it turn out?
-Do you regret not having a bigger wedding at home?
-Was it really expensive?
- What time of year did you have it?

Any details would be appriciated!

over the summer i went to visit my best friend (who is also my ex bf) and all of our mutual friends talked alot of sh*t about it behind my back but were nothing but smiles to my face. i went down to visit him in july (he moved 300 miles away in may) and i just found out about the gossiping recently. he is coming up this weekend and even though i would give anything to see him i do not want to be around our "friends" who talked so much trash..they obv arent my friends (or his) if they would say stuff behind both our backs so im stuck. if i hang out with them they will talk crap cuz the only reason id be there is to see him and they all know it (i havent spoken to them since i found out everything) but i do want to see him cuz hes my best friend...if i dont hang out he is going to ask why...should i tell him what people were saying or should i take the heat and pretend its my fault im not hanging out?
