Okay, she isn't my girlfriend anymore. But Sweetest Day is Friday and I thought it would be nice to give her a gift to show how much she still means to me. I made a scrapbook of poems I wrote and some pictures from when we were together, and some other pictures that I took after we broke up. She doesn't know about those because I was always hiding in bushes when I took them, so I think she'll be pleasently surprised.

The problem is, she has a restraining order against me. So since I can't give it to her in person, what would be the most creative, romantic way to present her with the scrapbook?

We live in a three bedroom house with my mum and dad, my older brother of 22 has much more in common with my 16 year old brother, they both like computer games and get on better. Me and my younger brother do not get on, constantly arguing. I dont like him, he never does anything for me, and im constantly letting him of, he also makes the room a mess. when I cant stand it.

My older brothers room is a state so it would make sense for them to share a room. But as hes the oldest he has the room, my younger brother complained when i mentioned this, but my older brother understands and would move.

My question is am i being unfair on my older brother? what would you do? where do I stand on this situation. I see it becoming a big problem.

My boyfriend and me have been together for 1.5 years, and we're both juniors in college. He wants to live with one of his guy friends from high school. I wouldn't have a problem with that except for the fact that his guy friend drinks alot and doesn't seem to have alot of respect for women. My boyfriend says, "that's just how he is." And he also tells me that if he lived with him it wouldn't affect him and me either. I'm just afraid that it would because his guy friend drinks ALOT. My boyfriend only drinks with him. Also, his friend never looks me in the eye, and my boyfriend says that's because he knows I have morals and he doesn't want to do somethin to offend me. He also cusses all the time in front of me. I tried talking to my boyfriend about it, but he get really defensive about his friend. Suggestions? I don't want to be a ***** about it, but the idea makes me uncomfortable.

I've known this guy for about a month at work-we've been to lunch and talk several times each week. Things seemed to be going good, getting to know each other, etc, kind of moving towards dating. He has always come across as very open and honest and kind, never cocky and over confident like some guys.

So the other day we agreed to meet to discuss a project (nothing assigned to us, just something kind of hypothetical). He said he hadn't thought about it and it would really help him to discuss it with me. Now here's the weird thing: When we finally met, instead of an exchange of ideas, he had totally researched and prepared stuff. I basically sat there while he "dazzled" with research, ideas, and rock solid stuff.

Afterward, I felt bad because I didn't get a chance to add my ideas and felt like he wasn't expecting me to. He really wanted to show off his skills and intelligence. He seemed pretty happy when we parted. Why did he act this way?

I just asked a question here and everyone seems to think that I've blown it with this girl at work. Is there *anything* I can do to salvage this or should I just give up? I don't want to lose my job over sexual harrassment or anything, so nothing too outrageous.

My husband owns a home with his father. On the original deed is- My husband, his father and his ex wife. On the mortgage is my husband and his father (not the ex wife)
My husband got the house when he divorced his ex wife.
He lived in it for about 2 years after the divorce was final then when we decided to get married we wanted to sell it. When we put the for sale sign up his ex asked if she could buy it. We were in a hurry to move and said yes. We let her and the children move in under the conditions (verbal agreement) that she would secure her own financing. My husband signed a quit claim deed to her. His father did not. The quit claim deed was notarized but it was NOT filed. Now she is requesting that he sign another quit claim to her, I think because she lost the first one and it didn't have all the right info on it. We have been trying to get her to finance it for a year and she still hasn't. We are now weighing our legal options...what are they?

My former father-in-law is in a local hospital in critical condition. He lives about 1 1/2 hours from here. So I told his lady friend that she could stay with me so she could be with him. Now, I learned that my father is in the hospital and they think he has had a heart attact. He is almost 2 hours away. I would really like to go be with my dad. What can I do about this lady? She is elderly. She does not drive. Even if I let her stay while I went, she could not get back and forth to the hospital.

My wife and I have been together 16 yrs. I cheated 7 yrs ago when we had just one kid. A couple years later we had your youngest. I came clean and have felt terrible since I cheated. Last yr she wanted out and I got her to stay. Now last week she saw an atty and filed divorce pprs. I got them and never said. We had sex all weekend and I told her last night. She admits to cheating but with no sex. I still think that 16 yrs is a lot to throw away. I got an atty too protect myslef but have told her its not to late to call them off. She still gave me a kiss goodnight and goodbye this morning. She also cried herself to sleep. She said she feels nothing but the sex is because she feels bad. What do you read into this and do you think this can still be saved? Any help will be appreciated. 16 years is way to much for me to turn my back on. I just dont want to turn my back on this relationship and my kids. Im scared to death.

Now we have all heard about typical examples of women waiting for their Prince Charming to come on the white horse, etc...The question is: Is this true for men ,too? Do you long for your Princess or you just don't believe in these???

ok, this is the story: my husband and I live with roommates. (they also have a kid) we are 5 people inside the house. Everything good, we have a good time, etc... but when it comes to "consideration for the other people that live in the house" I just want to kill them.... I get so angry!!! listen:: last night we order to go food, I was felling sick so I did not eat my hamburger. My husband said, "well, if you are not eating it, I will take for lunch tomorrow". so I paid my roommates for the 2 hamburgers (because she went to pick them up) Guess what? next morning was gone!!! yes, my roommate’s boyfriend ate it last nigh! why??? I paid for it???? I am so sick that even this smallest thing drives me crazy!!! should I complaint for $7.00??? You think I will sound cheap? they do it all the time!
just to give an idea, before I cook I have to clean dirty plates (from 3 days ago) because she does not clean them and she uses every single pan and knife in the kitchen.

.... circumcised?

When I was with my ex for seven months, we were laying down together and suddenly she brings up the topic, w./out saying the actual word.

She says, "If you had a son and the doctor asked you if you wanted to cut off his skin, would you do it?" Obviously, she knew I was un-circumcised at that point from previous months. She went on to say shortly after, "Did you ever wish you had the skin cut off of your penis?"

She was from the south so I bet I was her first un-circumcised guy. Was she trying to hint she prefers circumcised and wanted me to get it done? I never asked what she meant, I just answered the questions. I think I said 'yes' to the 1st question b/c "most guys are and it prevents infections." She replied to that with, "Yeah, I heard that, too." And to the 2nd question I said, "I never really gave it any thought as to if I wanted or not."

omg, im in so much pain. me and my "boyfriend" are both 20 years old. we have been dating for five years and both go to college. we had been planning marriage and moving in together next year. i found out last week that he cheated on me in the beginning of the semester, after a long night of drinking. He was soo upset with himself and tried to kill himself at first. He spent 3 days crying to himself, texting me and writting my family and myself apology notes. After a week, i realized that i want to give him another chance... i love him so much, its unconditional. Well, when i told him i wanted to make it work, he said its too soon and that we both need time to heal :( he said we need space and that only time will tell whats best for us. i thought forgiveness was my decision. why did he cry to me and say he will wait forever, and now he wont talk to me? hes the love of my life, i dont need time. i forgive him

My girlfriend and I will have been together for 3 years on Monday, and we have both discussed marriage and know that it is the next step. I want to propose; I know her family very well, and we get along great. Do I still need to formally ask her father for her hand in marriage if we've been together so long and they know me well?

I saw a girl a few days back in a library. She was very attractive. She came along with her friends there. I was attracted towards her and her eyes showed that even she too got attracted towards me.
Later i went out of the library to have a cup of coffee and on returning back i saw her coming out of the library with her friends.
Once again i saw a brightness in her eyes and suddenly and unexpectedly she asked me if there is any ATM near there? When asked "which bank"-she replied "any bank".But I was not very familiar with that place and i said so. Then she herself pointed an ATM that was very near to that place and said bye dude and so i returned back. On the way back to library i turned back with doubt and she didn't go for the ATM and they were smiling at me.
So what could have i done or spoken to her to develop communication or friendship with her? ( Though i may not see her again. what shall i do if i see her again?)
Gals and experienced guys please share some good idea.
