I just asked a question here and everyone seems to think that I've blown it with this girl at work. Is there *anything* I can do to salvage this or should I just give up? I don't want to lose my job over sexual harrassment or anything, so nothing too outrageous.

Here's the original details:
This girl that I work with has been checking me out for a long time and she's been giving off all the signs.
So last week, I overheard her talking to this girl about some "guy at school" that she likes but is afraid to hook up with.
So I waited until she went into a back room and then I said "you don't have to play games, you can just tell me how you feel about me."
And then she laughed and walked away!
So I waited a couple of days and figured I would try again. I was reading a magazine in my office when she walked by and I called her over. I said, "I just wanted you to know that I think there's something between us" and she interrupted me and said "What, Viagra?" So I just stared at her and she pointed down, and sure enough there was this huge Viagra ad staring up and me. I think she knew I was pissed that time cause she got this look on her face and almost ran out of the room.

I think she finds you amusing, well until you got pissed that is. She was just trying to be funny with the Viagra comment. I would think she took all of your comments in a joking way so I don't think you blew it. She probably likes you.

wow..you sound like you came off kinda cocky.i mean, you probably should have just flirted back for a little while and then asked her out to lunch or something but you instead went straight for the kill. yep, you killed it. the only way you can make it better is if you apologize for your arrogance and explain to her the signs she was throwing at you. good luck. leave some to the imagination nxt time.

That is bad. I feel for you. You could try to tell her that you didn't mean anything. I must say, it's a most interesting situation. Be gentle and try not to come off as to harsh. Remember, you want to make things better, not worse. If she agrees to let it drop, i suggest backing off and maybe stop reading magazines.

I'd give up.
She may have liked you at one point, but she doesn't anymore. Either she didn't like your direct approach in the situations you've described, or she's playing very hard to get - and if that's the case, she sounds impossible to please anyway. Sarcastic, snotty, arrogant ... do you really want to put up with that?
Next time, be smooth with the girl you want to date; come on too strong, and she'll be turned off.

sounds like a real fire cracker, I think she wants to be chased, try being a little smoother. Cheese it up a bit, maybe some notes and a secret admirer thing. Just throwing ideas out there but I think you're allright.

Um it sounds like sexual harrassment to me. Why would you say that to a female you work with? Hello??? Where is your common sense? Non only have you blown it, but you could lose your job.

first of all you jump the gun when you assumed she was talking about you. maybe she was talking about a totally differnt guy. try appologizing to her for your stupid actions towadr her. it also sounds like you have an ego problem i hope that is not the case because if it is you will lose plent more women. i truly hope this help.

She sounds toatlly disinteredted. Move on and quit waisting your time. Let her approach you next time sometimes it is better if she dosent know your interested in her. It can make you more desirable. Good Luck!!!

Sounds like she was flirting with you.
Good luck. Don't give up too quick. She is probably just as awkward about this as you.
