hickies are like bruises...you cant' get rid of it...you can only cover it....

Tips for Hiding and Removing Hickeys

If you catch the hickey soon enough, your can minimize the mark by immediately applying ice.
Surface stimulation will help disperse the blood. Gently rub and massage the area.
Using a comb or a hairbrush to massage the area works better than fingers and hands.
Using any tubular object with a domed end, apply steady pressure over the hickey and twist. It will hurt, but it will help. Lipstick caps, pen caps, and blistex caps work. The goal is to work the blood deeper into the skin.
Make the hickey worse - if you use a curling iron, have your ‘friend’ reshape the hickey to match the pattern that it would make if you had burned yourself accidentally. This can work with any likely burn or bruise scenario. Do not burn yourself! Reshape the hickey with more suction.
Utilize turtleneck sweaters, scarves, or makeup to cover it up.
Rub vitamin K into the area.
Apply a warm, moist, used tea-bag as a hot compress. Repeatedly re-wet and re-warm it as needed until the hickey disappears.

Bengay works great with bruises and stuff. I know for a fact that it works because, when you put it on, it penetrates into the affected skin, and soothes the pain, and helps re-circulate those dead blood cells. I had a bruise on my *** from falling down the stairs, and I put bengay on it, and the giant bruise was gone in a few days. Completely dissapeared. It was a very deep deep bruise too. If your hickey or bruise is not as big as the one in my butt cheek, then you should be able to get rid of it fast. Try it, you will see. PS. Make up just covers it up, does not help it go away.

Haven't you heard??? Hickies are PERMANENT!!!!

Just kidding, Udo.....chill, OK?

Hickies are dark small bruises--where they got the nickname "passion bumps" escapes me.

Hickies don't just disappear hours later--they take at least 4 or so days later to disappear. In the meantime, buddy up to some "pancake" makeup (blush), and cover 'em up best as you can.

apply ice or an icepack directly to the hickie, The ice lowers the temperature of the body thus drawing the blood away from the surface so that the body can conserve heat.

You cant get rid of them all together.

But if you hold some ice cubes on them or a hot flannel then this will help reduce the redness.

Then for whats left of it, just cover up using a concealer.

Also, at this time of year, you can get away with wearing a scarf sometimes.

Just don't all the time because then it becomes kind of obvious.

Hope this helped.

Excellent question!! I'll be watching for any real answers....there is no way that I know of other than just time.

Add - Makeup does not get rid of hickies....it only covers them up. The question is how to get rid of them...i.e., make them go away.

right afterward you can apply ice, or keep a spoon in the freezer to apply to the hickie. After they have been there for awhile this doesn't help that much, there is no cure.

you take a no.two pencil and twist the eraser side on the mark. go one way and then the opposite for a few minutes. it will get sore and kinda swollen but your mark will just look red (as tho you'd been scratching it for a while). if this doesn't work, get a tablespoon and put it in the freezer for a couple hours. when it is cold enough, place the spoon on the mark and hopefully it'll go down. otherwise, avoid the hickeys altogether.
