Sounds fair enough to me as long as it is rent only.
He should buy his own food do his own washing and cooking and generally take care of himself. He is 20 after all.
Now if you are running a hotel where all services and food is provided i suggest you triple the amount !

Cost of living does vary so it depends on which country you live in. But in general in Europe rent payment for a bed sitter is around 100 Euros per week plus bills for electricity, telephone etc., so he should pay at least that. That does not include food so you should also add on the cost of what he eats, if you buy and cook his meals for him in which case I would guess 150 Euros per week total about correct, which is still less than 50% of his wages.

I don't know about the whole euro thing.
My step son makes about 300 every two weeks and I make him pay me 60 every week. Not too much for a roof, place to sleep, and food.
He could move out if he wants to, but I think we know how well that would go.

Check for rental properties in your area that are similar to the space that he rents from you. If he is only paying for his bedroom space then it's not really rent it's "room & board", but if he has exclusive use of a small apartment, then that would be a viable rental space.
Since he's family, I guess you might set the rate for him to be slightly lower than competative spaces.

i think 50 is reasonable. this gives him the opportunity to save his money and get his own place. if u feel he should be doing sumthing more...give him a small bill to pay. but i think 50 euros is a good deal on both parts.

I say he gives you half, 175 euros. This way he can spend half and you get rent. or if you want to be a little more fair, 100 euros.

I've always felt that 25% of take home pay is a reasonable amount. Lets face it if he was living away from home he would be paying a lot more.

My question is, is he helping out around the house and cleaning up after himself? If not, he needs to be paying a lot more.
You need to encourage him to find his own place... perhaps share one with one or more friends.
