Man is a beast and so are you.If he has any intentions, then ask your daughter this fast.

She will know if he is giving her just a bath or doing much more, she is no baby, its an age of reason indeed.

Stop this act before it leads to more, put your foot down and let the girl have her own bath or as a mother you get in there and help scrub her back.

If the father insists then its time you break the act,as this is no bath he is interested in , than her private parts to pat and enjoy in a sexual act of silent joy.

NO! My 7 yr old takes showers on her own with no help from anyone except to test the water. Fathers don't need to be in the room when a girl is taking a bath. Thats what a mom is for. Something not quite right going on there.

NO! If you stand by and watch abuse you are equally guilty. It is not normal for anyone to be giving a 10 yr old a bath. Even if she were mentally handicapped, it should be the mother giving the bath.

No it's not. And he's probably creeping her out but she's afraid to say so. Girls these days are already developed at 10. My husband stopped bathing our daughter when she turned a year old. This guy here sounds like a sicko perv who someone needs to be watching.

A 10-year old child should be able to bathe herself. She shouldn't need any help from her mother or from you. It is not appropriate in either case, but you, as her father, should definitely not be giving her bath. Filling the tub up for her, maybe, but not giving her a bath.

Kind of a gray area, but I would say no. My son would not allow me to see him naked from about 9 or so. I would think a ten year old would prefer the privacy. I know that these days puberty can start that early for a girl. I would def keep an eye on this situation. Good luck.

A girl at the age of 10 should be able to give herself a bath!!! Or she should even be taking a shower by now!!!

No i think it is a bit inappropriate!!!

Why should it not be normal? It is up to the father and daughter and the family in general to decide what it appropriate.

I am sure that the daughter will say she feels that she would rather bathe alone.

I'm curious as to how old you are, that you'd not know the answer to that question yourself. I'm a mother, and I wouldn't give my 10-year-old a bath! She's quite capable of taking a bath at that age on her own.

That's just dimented.

Not only not normal, but could be abusive. If your doing this (unless the daughter is handicapped)...you need to stop. She needs privacy and to have the confidence that she can take care of herself, not just now but a few years ago too.
