If someone is going to ask u out but u don't want to go out w/ them bcuz if u broke u it porb would ruin your friendship what is the best way to let the person down??

Pretty much what you said in your question. "I don't want to lose you as a friend and I think that's what would happen if we tried to take this to the next level."
Everyone knows that things can get weird when friends become more than friends.

Hmmm, thats a hard one...well i would say that you should tell this person that your not interseted in going out with ANYONE that is if they haven't asked you out yet, cause that makes it seem like you just dont want a boif right now. Or if he already asked you then just say I dont want a boif right now...or say sorry, but no.

sorry, if he wants you your friendship is pretty much through, you should just give it a shot, and be friends after. it's your best shot, trust me
