Ok i have been trying to get this girl, well i feel cheesy saying this but its the only way for me to explain how is feel, im in love with her. Problem is she already has a boyfriend. But she herself and all of her friends can not stand him. Hell her mom is bribing her to leave him with a car, and a new cellphone. And her current boyfriends mom has been trying to get her to leave him. He is a asshole , he has cheated on her 3 times that she knows of, and is constantly accusing her of it, and being overly jealous of every little thing she does such as hugging one of her friends etc. I have told her i like her and tried everything i can think of to show her how much i care thats is not in the affair area.She has told me that she was going to leave him for me now 4 times!!! But has every time backed out and hurt me. Ive even asked her to leave him once, and hinted a few times but she wont. what should i do. Im sick of it! But i fear missing my chance if i date someone else.

I'm shy, insecure, and have trust issues. I want to know how to change this. I'm at a low point in my life, but I've got a good plan for the next year that should pan out if everything goes well. Are there other ways to gain confidence and independence?

Also, about my trust issues. I know why I had them; a weird online relationship for 5 months, and I traveled 32 hours on a bus to go see this person, it was not the person who they told me they were. It was a fat, overweight, hairy, b*tch that didn't even want to stay and chat with me for a little bit, they just told me to go back home and left. I look back on this relationship and see all the things that I should have seen were lies, and now I over analyze everything. How do I stop this and just trust people?

If you know good sites that can help out I'd appreciate that too.

So, tonight I was at my boyfriend's house. I went into the bathroom and left my ring (right hand ring) on the counter (I take my rings off when I wash my hands)

I didn't realize I did it. Well, I was sitting and watching TV and he comes over and sits next to me. He talks my left hand and jokingly says, "will you marry me?"

I knew it wasn't a real proposal b/c obviously it was a ring I already owned and he did do it in a joking manner.

However, what do we think of the joke? Did he have any real meaning behind it or was he just joking.

We've been dating for 3 years, btw.

my father has a problem with my twin sister being gay and he wants me to have problem with it but i dont. cause that is my sister no matter what. I invited my daddy off for my house warmming and and he turned down the invited. he told me until my sister stop living with me that he cant be apart. but it is like that everytime i have something as a family. but let his step kids have something he is jonny on the spot for these kids.so the reason for this time he could not visit is cause my sister is gay. that is some BS she has been that way for about seven or eight years. i think he should put his difference aside and love and care for his kids no matter what there sexuality is. out of all four of us i am the only one that keeps the line of communation open but i dont no how long that is going to last. cause he is always causing problems. i just want a happy family.like my soon to be husband. if this is the family cards i was dealt i want to throw it back in.

My boyfriend n I been having problems. We mostly fight about the "lil" things, but to me it's a big deal. Ex: he doesn't spend time w/ me but he spends time w/ his friend, going surfing. AND he doesn't talk to me about his problems, n I ask him to talk to me but he doesn't, he says he talks to himself to deal w/ his problems.
These are big deals aren't they? lack of communication, n the fact that he always spends time w/ that single friend of his.
But anyways, I love him so much despite that we fight a lot. n I care about him a lot. Plus, I know that he has much on his mind about a lot of things (he hasn't told me about) but I know that he does.n recently, he just got mad because I was bugging him about telling me how he feels,n he brought up saying that he doesn't want me to care about him anymore.

He's a very stubborn guy, n I know that when he is mad he says things that he doesn't mean. but sometimes it hurts so much. Should I leave him, or just stay w/ him but give space?

So we've been dating heavily for almost two months. sex is great, he's very sweet and affectionate. calls every day, see him 2-3 times per week. My mom gambles away most of her paycheck. She pays a few of the bills but that's it. She doesn't buy any food, gifts, or household products. She hasn't payed a cent towards my college tuition. She's a a smoker, and always borrows money for cigerettes. My dad is the main (and pretty much sole) provider in the family.
She lies about what happens to her money, and becomes VERY defensive when my dad or I confront her about it. She borrows money from people, and never pays it back. She's even borrowed 15K from her sister, swearing that she'd pay her back - but of course that had never happened. She's giving all of us a bad reputation. She even borrows money from /me/. I'm only sixteen years old, and she's been borrowing large sums of money from me since I was about twelve. I'm so upset. Our money is tight right now, too. My dad's really stressed out. I'm at a total loss as to what to do! Help!!
I just don't know how to talk to her without her becoming defensive. I really need advise!!

My husband has this extremely frustrating new habit,when he says he is coming over at maybe 3 he would call back at 3 instead of coming and then say he would be their at 4 and he does this consistently for maybe 5 hours.no matter how bad i need him home or no matter whats wrong with me he still does it i end up frustrated and crying my eyes out he says he is sorry and maybe the next week he does it again why does he play this game with me and how can i get him to stop he also does it to the kids but not as much.

My parents refuse to speak to my sister. There was a disagreement back in June over my two neices and nephew visiting over the summer. My parents only wanted my two neices to come (they are older) and my nephew to only come if my sister came along with him (he wasn't on his best behavior when he visited last April). Well, my sister and her husband decided that if my nephew couldn't come my neices couldn't come either because my nephew would feel rejected. My parents felt totally disrespected (they were paying for all the travel expenses). It has been almost five months, I have tried to open the lines of communications, but nothing is working. My sister has tried (she just is agreeing to disagree) to reach out with no success. I am at my wits end. I see points from both sides, but my parents are being the immature party in this matter.
Please Help! Should I call Dr. Phil? I am about to!!!!!

started tis relationship with this guy (38yr,newlw divorced, no kids) i am 24 yr, well, we had quite good relationship for 10 months apart from some arguments round last relationship that he is goig through financial settlement dispute..and i told lies about my nationality and job (i am actually a student who dont work, parents support money). and he didnt know until one night he find out frm email.. he is very angry, we are practically live together few weeks before this, and met his parents four months ago. and he wants to have break think about and see if we will have a future..i am very hurt as i didnt get move out due to usy with exam(has been four weeks now). and his parents pass opinion that i am using him for money, comfort, which i am not, i aways try to pay (perhaps 40% ) and he treats me quite badly sometimes, he still say he love me but i dont see he desire/want me as much as before..i am moving to motel tmrw, and feeling sad as dont know if this is the end of us...help

my wife died suddenly last year. of the many people that we spent time with on a regular basis, only 3 people have stayed in touch with me. about 65 people came to the service, and I got cards from people, but they didn't make any further contact. I keep thinking that I shouldn't have had to call everyone when my wife died, and they should have stepped up and been there for me. Am I right to have thought this? Should I have had to call everyone? Just because they were busy? Everyone's busy, but when your friend loses his wife, you step up and you are there if you care about them. 3 years before my wife was critically ill, and I had this one guy that was there every day for 5 weeks - he sat there with me in the ICU every single day in 2003, and then when she died, he didn't say a word to me for a year. He came by my house a year later and then told me he didn't know what to say. I'm just trippin on these people. I know I need to forget about it, but I'm still confused..thanks

My 9 yr old stepdaughter was sickly every time she came back from her birth mothers, starting in Dec. Each weekend she would come home & be sick and I would take off work to take her to dr. We would get her well and her 'mother' would take her for the weekend & she came home sick every time.
In March I took her to the emergency room bc she had slept all day. She would not eat or anything. Her pulse ox was at 82%. They airlifted her to a childrens hospital 3 hrs away. She was in Pediatric icu for 4 days and on the floor for 3 days. My husband & I have custody (the 'mother' dropped the girls off at our house when our son was 1 1/2 weeks old.) She doesn't work, recently married and does not pay her court ordered monthly support of 150.00. What can I do?
