So we've been dating heavily for almost two months. sex is great, he's very sweet and affectionate. calls every day, see him 2-3 times per week. Now he says he thinks we should stop having sex because he's afraid I'm going to get attached. every time he's said it we ended up in bed within an hour. I think he's afraid he's getting attached. What do you think?

I think you should leave him. Why would you want to be with someone who doesn't want to be with you? No offense, but he's obviously just using you until he finds someone to replace you.

To me, this seems like more of a friends with benefits thing. I don't think he wants to get attached, and he hadn't wanted to from the start. He's afraid you will, so he's trying to easily work his way out of it.

is there more than the sex??? can you talk to each other about anything??? --- it could be he is looking for someone else ---- i cant think of any reason i would want to stop having sex --- especially if we were getting more attached --- i mean thats part of the reason for having sex --- to get to know you better and make sure we are compatiable ---- best wishes

It could be as you said, but...my first reaction was that he wants to break up with you and feels guilty about using you for sex since you obviously really like him.

He might be trying to get you to respond this way. You know, reverse psychology - you try to get it because he says no. Try calling his bluff. Don't do it and just leave for the evening. He'll quit saying it. It's just bull.
