I am happily married of 4 years, for our fifth year my husband and I are planning to renew our vows in a religious ceremony, since our first time was with the justice of peace. I am very excited, I am looking for any advice on what to do and what not to do, anyone who has done so, I know plenty people have, Just what exactly did you do, and what should be different with the renewal? I only want my siblings, his siblings, parents and first cousins and no children, as our families barely know one another. I have four boys, I just really want them to be there for the ceremony. huh! thank goodness I have about a year to plan...... oh yeah and I am only looking at 35 people to attend.

Me and my friends are playing a game.
And the game is "saying a country."
My friend start first saying a country name.
And then my second friend continues.
Then me. So after 12 mins past by we have no more countries
to name anymore. And it was my turn so I said Newfoundland.
And my first friend said there is no country like that. And I said there is a country like that. And then he said If there is a country name Newfoundland I will give you $50 but if there isn't then you give me $50. So I said ok. So we all went home and I researched on Newfoundland. And it said it was and independent country from 1907 to 1934. After that it is now a part of Canada. So my question is should I give $50 to him?

He broke it off but said maybe it could work later. Im the only ex he speaks to and I asked and he said no its not because he wants to keep me around in case. My bf and i have had sex multipe times, but he is a very big christian and he says that he wants to become closer to god, and he thinks we should stop. My fiance and I did not include "+ guest" on invitations to our friends who we know are single in order for us to keep within our budget. But we've received a couple of RSVPs from those single friends who are adding a guest - though they did not specifically write the name of the guest. I have been talking to this guy online who likes me that I met at my friends party and also went to high school with. He seems really nice and he says all these sweet things to me. Like if I say something like wow I just made a fool of myself he says back "Your not a fool in my book." :) Then I told him about a movie I was gonna watch and he goes oh a chick flick and I was like you don't watch those kinds of movies so you've never seen The Notebook and he goes no. So I start telling him about it and he didn't want me to give away the ending cause he is gonna watch it and he keeps telling me how he is working on watching it :). Then today he told me he thinks I'm cute. He makes me laugh and that's like the one quality I look for in a guy. ok, heres the story. i have been with my boyfriend 2 yrs.we've been living together for 1. we have a 4 mo old daughter, and were planning on getting married. im 24 he is 22.he is an awesome father. before i got pregnant with my daughter i found out he was conversating with some females on his myspace. he would write them about how good they looked and how much he wanted to meet them. he assured me it was nothing. the girls aren't even local and he would never do it again so we worked it out. recently i found some text messages on his cell to several different females 1 including his ex. he says things like "hey sexy" and "i hope i get to see your sexy *** this weekend" and "i miss u". i dont know what to do. i confronted him and he told me they are just his friends and thats how guys talk. i truly dont feel hes being honest and his word means nothing. i really do love him. im just not sure what the next step is.is this cheating? i cant trust he wont do this again.am i setting myself up?he swears im the one. please help! female AND male advice.

I can't take this anymore. I've never experienced ant freedom in my life. I've never been allowed to go out with my friends and now my mother is being a total...she doen't even allow me to do anything and says that I'm evil whenever I do not do as she says or my sister says.She hates me and recently she flipped coz I did my eyebrows but I'm tired of being the weird one out. ok, so where should i start? been with this guy for over a year now- eveything's been perfectly fine with us... moved in together after 3 months when we met, settled down quickly, got a dog and lived happy 'little family' life....
it's all started like a few months ago when i found out he keeps checking my phone, emails and stuff... i asked him is that just cos he doent trust me or something? he swears that he does trust me and just being stupid...

Hypothetically: you have two choices.

1. You meet a man who has not been in your life very long, but you know his is a man who is calm, steady and reliable. There's not much "excitement" but he is safe and he loves you and you love him.

2. A man who you have loved for years, but who hurt you. A man who, after you left him, decided to make drastic changes in his life and become a new man who wants you back and wants a family with you. There was plenty of excitement and fun, but you're not sure if you could ever really feel emotionally "safe" with him.

My Mother is a very sweet lady and also in her older years still very dependent and will not stick up for what she really wants. Her husband (2nd) and my Mom live here close to us. My husband and I have 2 kids that she is close to and now my Mothers husband is going for a job interview in another state which (is probably as far as a 20 hr car trip) means they would have to move. Well, I think that if he really gave a rats a$$ about her he would know that its more important to stay near family than to make an average living. I mean you could have a job anywhere but his pride level is way to high it's gonna screw everything up. My Mom isn't happy about moving but she feels like she can't make it on her own. I told her she would be happy if she is closer to us but she wants to stick with her husband that doesn't care about her feelings. What should I do let her go or continue to talk to her about this?
