People compliment me on the street sometimes saying I'm pretty and beautiful/sexy and stuff, but they wouldn't talk to me other than that or ask me out... I'm 18 years old and I'm nice and generous and would never cheat/backstab anyone but no one knows that since they don't give me a chance, everyone my age has bf or more than one probably, I don't know why I can't get one... Here's the situation, I was in love with a man 30 years ago. We were together for 10 years off and on. We haven't spoken in 20 years. Recently he came back into my life via internet. The thing is that I'm in a great lesbian relationship now, he is single. I have realized that I have always loved him, and am still very much in love with him, and love my girlfriend very much too. I was with someone for aprrox 1 year and also got married unfourtunately our marriage only lasted two months and 3 weeks. Ok I am 27 and I live with my parents with my 16 month old daughter. I haven't been able to get a job for a while so I can't pay rent. I don't go out at all I stay home 24/7 But I do keep the house clean and cook the meals and take care of my 9 year old nephew after school. But nothing I do is good enough for my mom. The house isn't ever clean enough, Ok I have a toddler it's kinda hard to keep every toy put away 24/7. And my nephew is always leaving stuff all over the house. But lately I just can't take it anymore. She starts to yell at me and she won't stop. If I argue with her or even keep my mouth shut she just gets even more pissed. I have gotten to the point I want to grab a knife and cut my arm just to see if that would shock her into stopping for just a minute and see what she is doing to me. I would never kill my self or hurt my mom I love her but I am at the end of my rope. I can't afford to go to a therapist so what should I do? I applied for housing but have been ignored.

I think my dads on heroin. Whenever i go down there he acts strange. Hes in the toilet for ages, when he comes out it smells like somethings burned and hes ALWAYS tired. This is a question I am asking to settle something with a friend.

Her b/f of six months has an ex girlfriend that he broke up with four years ago...they dated for four years, and even lived together. They grew up together, and their families know one another......all that stuff.
When he's asked about his ex he gets nervous, stumbles around his words, and gets a little red faced, and even sometimes snippy.

What is his problem?? I mean...someone will say, "Oh you used to date so and so right??
And he gets a little frazzled.

Now, be honest...and use common sense. How can you say you are over someone and still have THAT kind of reaction to a simple question when their name is mentioned???

He still has feelings, doesn't he??

My wedding is at 17:00 and the game starts at 21:00. I know the guys coming to the wedding are big rugby fans, and there was suggested that we must put up a bigscreen for them to watch the game, but I feel that I'm only getting married once and if they really respect me and my fiance, they will enjoy the wedding with us and forget about the game. Or must I just stay quiet and accept what happens?

PS: My mother suggested that the food must be served at 21:30. That way, nobody can just leave to go and watch the game. Oh boy! I think it's really rude of people to just leave! All the time and money put in the reception.

Make a long story short, she broke up but she has been talking to me for the last six months. She always calls me especially when I don't call her. No intimacy, no kissing, hugging, or even hanging out that much. But she keeps calling. This really angers me because I don't want to be a back up. Monday was her birthday. I called her and said happy birthday. I didn't buy her a present, didn't take her out or anything. She mentioned hanging out last week but didn't mention it this week. I just feel like I am on the backburner. She told me a couple weeks ago that she was not ready to be with me and that she would hurt me again if we were together. So I said peace out. I told her friend that I wouldn't buy her anything and that the only reason she calls me is when she needs something (I didn't get invited to her party or dinner). I told him "why should I get a present for someone who doesn't want to be with me?". My question is; Did I do the right thing? She hasn't called me.

At work there is this guy who I've been recently flirting with. He'll jokingly make comments like let's go and make out and such. Always is commenting on my eyes, likes to put his hand on my back. Is starting to give me massages. I do know that he flirts with other girls at work, which is fine, but he doesn't give them the physical contact he gives me. I filed a epo (emergency protective order) after I called the cops. he works with my mom which he called her and said he'll see her friday. he works MWF and the incident happen wednesday. It was the first time he hit me, 7th or 8th time, not as serious but he threw me against the table and rammed it into the wall with me on it. Bruised my arm, i had to take pictures with the cops. I feel so angry but when I feel sad I feel bad and guilty about calling the cops. I know my self esteem has deteriorated... the thing is i have class with also. I don't want to talk to him until i have sort things out, i dont tihnk he even cares.. i thought he would be arrested be he just got served with the epo...at his house. So he has to stay away 10ft in class and 100yds for the next 5 days.

DO you think he has learned his lesson?
What should I do?

I have a boyfriend, were the same age, we've been together 4 a while now and i just don't understand what i'm doing wrong. He calls me everyday (none missed), i call him but not as much as he calls me. And he tells me that he wants me 2 start calling him more i say i will but i don't. Everyday he tells me how much he loves me and never wants me 2 leave him but i never say anything like thatin return.
