I liked this guy a lot..and he did too.. now we are bethrowed.. I find that these days he's putting in a lot of effort to ensure that me and his mom have a good relationship.. since he was brought up without a father, he is worried that his mom might get overly possessive and repel me after marriage.. hes in fact asking me to earn the love of his mom "as she would love her daughter". In fact he wants to cut down our time together whenever he feels that his mom might show some insecurity...

Is he getting too concerned or is it normal??
How do i earn the love of his overly possessive mother as well as sustain his interest in me?

ok... so this whole thing is about my best friend (Tyler) and his good (or ex- good) friend (Levi.)

Here is how it went down...

one day (Tyler was feeling sick- not really talkative) Tyler walked up to Levi and was like "dude, whats the homework?"
Levi said "shut up ******"
(that was just one of many incidences)

and it really irritates him (and hurts his feelings) when Levi (his supposedly "awesome") friend says that.. duh.




i need some really good and uplifting advice. he is really confused about who he is, what he likes, and who he wants to become....

Is it ok for a 9 yr old girl (who's maturity level is 12-13, (raised with 1 brother who is now 20) to walk home from school (2 blocks, school on same street as home), call mom (at work) on her cell to let her know she got in ok (girl has key), then do homework, tv, etc til mom gets home a 2 hrs later? It was commonly known as a latchkey kid back in the days & was very commonly done with no hesitation from the parent but what about now? Is it ok? Added detail: Home is in a usually safe neighborhood.

ok so this boy i know is in the 12th grade and im in the 9th... about two weeks ago he got switched out my class which was the only 9th grade class he took, and so now i wanna be with him and he says he been liking me for the longest and i been knowing him for a while... no every since he got switched out hes been acting funny and said i HAVE 2 GET GOOD KNOW HIM BETTER! which i already do... i think its bcuz he found some1 else and is just trying to reject me on the slick side dats wat my sis says.... help wat should i do?

so... My gal thinks it's MY job as a dude to take out the trash. I say... Make the Kids (hers) 12 -n- 16 take it out. but when it's full and she takes it out I get crap for not doing it even though I wasn't even there cuz I am working late. I always hear this stuff about how girls go for a guy with personality and that's funny, but we all know that's not true. So out of 100% I would like for you to put in a percentage on how much each of these things matter to you, the total has to end up at 100. Although, you don't really have to, just kinda guidelines. But out of these things.

weight, height, age, muscularity, personality, humor.

If you want to add more categories or something, that's ok. And also, please explain what kind of each of those things you prefer, do you want a guy to be kind of funny, really funny, serious, muscular, athletic, lean, chunky, well built, extremely muscular. Short, tall. You don't really have to do this, but you know that, just kinda curious.

Ok i know this topic has been up here plenty of times before but I'm in love with my female best friend. I've already tooken the step and told her how i felt and this was last year and all she had to say was i Never had anyway so those sweet things for me and she gave me a hug and that was the end. After that i tried to tell myself that i wasn't really in love with her and i was mistaken my friendship for love but i really am deeply in love with her. I love her so much that sometimes i forget she's not my girlfriend and that she belongs to someone else and it hurts so bad . I've tried to stop being friends with her but i love our friendship to i don't wanna lose that but i dont see any other way out. one minute im happy and the next minute i'm sad because of her . My cousin have the nastiest friend ever. He like to burn insects on the stove and wathch as the helpless thing suffercate and dies. He dyed his hair green?/Blue?/purple? whatever that colour is! He's got piercings on his eyebrows, nose, tongue....OR MORE! He does his drugs and get into fights. He LAUGH when others are miserable!!. Hes just...this HUGE SCREW UP as he is!! but I just love him like I never liked any other guys before. Why is this happening? Its been a good couple of years since I last went to a concert. (Back when Jimmy Eat World was touring with Blink182 and Green Day). Now I've discovered a new band Chiodos. They're coming to Austin and I really want to go. My friend, who is also coincedentally a guy that I like, is offering to take me as an early birthday present. My dad is hesitant to letting me go, and my step mother is the last "yay" or "nay". I told my dad that we were going to just see Chiodos and then leave for home. (A good 30-45min. away.) He complains that its a school night, but the show starts at 5:30. He complains about no parental guidance, but the Physics teacher is going as well, with her son. He complains about transportation, but my friend's parent is going to drive us there and pick us up. I see nothing wrong here. Can anyone offer me advice etc?
