Is it alright to ask some one you don't really know to homecoming?I have one class w/ this kid, and we have bearly even talked but i am a senior and i really want a date to my last homecoming dance u know? here's how i think i'll ask him, ( sitting down at the desk in front of him) hey i know we don't really know each other but, but i was wondering would you go to homecoming w/ me? what do u think?

Perfect way of asking! Very good! I only wish I had the guts to do that for what we called back then,"Girls League". That's when the girls ask the guys out. I too was sitting in front of him, we barely spoke, but he was a sweetheart, and cute too! I turned around, and with all his friends looking at me, I clammed up. He really wanted to know what I wanted to ask him, and I think he knew what it was, but I chickened out. I regreted not being brave enough to ask. So I missed out on my dance.
So, "YOU GO GIRL"....you go ask that guy out. There's nothing wrong with it, and I like the way you want to ask. I bet he will too. :-) "Sweet".

PS: If by chance he can't go, or doesn't want to, don't get discouraged ok. Ask another guy. :-)

Do it. You may regret it for the rest of your life if you don't. Take the lead and go for it, and your way of asking is good too. I regret not asking someone years ago, and sometimes you don't get a second chance. Go for it and good luck!
