There's nothing wrong with being single if you so choose. Marriage is an option for some, remaining single is an option for some. As for me.... I married because I love the man, I have always wanted to be a mother, and I believe the best way to raise children is with a married mother and father. If you're not in love with anyone and don't see children in your future... don't get married. It's just another option.

There is nothing wrong with being single. We married because we love each other and want to spend the rest of our lives together. We also want to have children. The marriage was partly done for our religous beliefs but mainly for love and commitment.

Because you love them and they are your best friend and you can't picture your life without them. There is nothing wrong with being single. It is what you choose in life. I was single for a long time and that was great before I decided to get married and have a child. I don't recommend getting married until you are 30 years old. I got married at 33! I have been happily married for 11 years now!

It is not wrong to be single and anyone who tells you that is full of bull. Marriage is a contract. It's just a piece of paper. The hearts should be thinking about forever, then marriage is ok. The divorce rate is so high, it is not good to marry unless you are absolutely sure in your heart.

I don't know what other people may say but MY reason for getting married was because I wanted to actually grow old with him and have kids with him and have grandkids with him... I love him and want to spend forever with him (God willing)... and as for being single, nothing is wrong with it, but I'm glad I don't have to be worrying about who they may be sleeping with on the side and who they are looking at and what diseases they may bring home to me... I like the 'security' I get from being married and with single-life there was no 'permanence' for me, just man hopping

Nothing is wrong with being single. But there comes a time in one's life when you long for a companion. Someone to be there for you, someone to grow old with.

I eventually met someone (after several relationships) who Appreciates me. AT the end of the day, you know that he is there, through smooth and rough times.

i believe there is nothing wrong with being single but who are you going to have when you get old or need to be supported in any kind of way. Being married secures you. Marraige is for religious purpose but to me i want to get married because i only need one person to be with. If we fullfill each others needs why not make it known to the world that we love each other.
