Ok - this came to me while I was watching tv, I was just wondering...

A man and a woman both in their 20's meet, fall in love, and marry after a few years. At the wedding the man's mother, who lost her husband say - 15 years before, meets the womans father, who lost his wife recently. The father and mother of the couple become friends, they live in the same town ... time passes, the couple is happily married and has a few children, when the parents announce that they're dating.

Eventually, when the grandchildren are 7 or 8, they decide they might want to get married. The couple has no problem, but wonder what to tell their children...

What would they tell them? Is this wrong? After all the parents aren't related, except throught the children's children. I'm sure, at some point in history, this has happened...but is it just a little too wierd?

I asked a woman I know if she would like to go out for coffee sometime. She replied she didn't like coffee. I asked what do you drink. She said water. She thanked me for asking her.

What now?

Hey girls, im from canada high school, and i really like this coffee girl, but dont know whether she likes me back.
At the start she used to stare at me quite alot, and then when i caught her shed just look away. Now im a local at her coffee shop and always go and get a coffee from her, at the start she used to hesitate when talking to me, and was really quiet. Then outta the blue one day she was all bubbly, like "hey hows it going",and she was really cheerful, then the next day she was back to being quiet.???....anyway, one thing that was really weird, is she sometimes giggles when i put money in her hand?. What i have noticed, is she is happy to talk to me when im by myself, but when im with friends, shes really quiet?, i make her laugh alot though, but the times when she doesnt say much, makes me wonder whether she does it cause shes nervous, or because she doesnt want to?im really shy though!...

My closest female friend has the laziest boyfriend ever. This dude doesn't work and never has worked. Her life is totally falling apart because of him. When she gets her self fixed up or gets close to family he dogs her out to knock her self esteem down. Her self esteem is so low she truly believes he is something to have. I'm one of the few people who hasn't turned my back on her. Sometimes when she talks about the guy I want to tell her she's stupid but I hold my tongue. He has drove her car down and today the motor broke. Now she has no car with a 7 year old daughter. The guy doesn't care. He told her to ask me and her family for money for a new car. Now she is begging everone for money but no one will help her because of him. She told her 70 year old aunt who she stiff for a grand last year she would sell her body if she doesn't buy her a car. It's like I'm watching my friend loss all of her morals and the little bit of self esteem she has. How can I help her get past this guy?

I have been living in my husbands grandmothers house for a month and a half. we were supposed to be looking after her as she has discovered that she is terminally ill. Then my mother in law and her husband moved in too. Since then I have been caring for granny and getting verbally and emotionally abused by my mother in law. I said before granny came home from hospital that I couldn't take full responsibility for her due to a young child of my own, but they dissmissed that and not that it has gotten too much they resent me. We had a huge arguement last night and now I have decided to leave for my own sake and my baby.
I'm I wrong for walking out??

By the way I am taking my baby with me...

My roomate won't clean up after herself - keeps dishes dirty, puts food in the disposal and doesnt get rid of it, backs up into sink when we use dishwasher, lets food go bad in the fridge, doesnt keep the common areas clean.

Refuses to pitch in for couch covers we got because of the dog hair all over the place because of her dog . Doesnt clean up after her dog (which is not allowed, according to our lease) and now she's got her squatter bf at our house too.

He was actually sitting on the couch when I got off work, talking about how happy he was that he got to sit around and do nothing all day...should I tell our landlord before both dog and bf are here so long that the bills get high because of them?

Maybe I'm asking an obvious question, but what would you do? I need some help here, before things get nasty! I want to do this in a civil way, we're all adults here.

Since we are older now, I feel the need to discuss this more openly and sooner than I would in my younger days.
I want my needs known and I figure it saves precious time, to talk more. But whats the best time to do a little hanky panky? I Don't want to be total loose slut, But I do want some action in!

What happened? I have just been getting angrier and angrier by the minute. Yesterday it got so bad that I started getting into my husbands and daughters face and screaming again. Tonight It got even worse; I started throwing things, fist fighting my husband and daughter, even threatening ti kill myself again.

It started out with my husband coming into the living room calling me a slob, lazy, no good for nothing. Saying I need to be taught how to clean. I clean this house everyday; sweep and vacuum the floors, do the dishes, make the bed, pick up after them, make his lunches, and make sure they get up every morning on time (even if I haven't had but 2 hours sleep). For the last week I have been only getting (if I'm lucky) 4 hours sleep every night, then waking up to make his coffee and lunch, wake him up, and wake my daughter up. After they leave I get on the computer for awhile do the cleaning watch the T.V., and wait for them to get home to make dinner.

I was married to a wonderful girl when s--t it the fan and we seperated and divorce soon to follow. since then I wake up about a dozen or more times a night to reach over to the other side of the bed (This after buying a bed smaller then a couch). Now I stay up till 2Am because sub-consciencely I don't want to deal with it, or go to bed.

Any suggestions, any advice?

I've heard a few men say how awful women are for taking all their money and their kids during their divorce, and how vindictive their ex-wives are. I've also heard a few women say they got stuck with bills, the kids, and their ex ran out on them and/or cheated on them. So what do you think-is either gender really worse to the other in divorce, or does it depend on the couple?

When I got divorced, I paid more of the bills and took more of the debts since I made more money. So I haven't experienced the horrors of divorce; we acted like civil adults (we divorced in our 20's).

Okay, a close friend of mine acts incredibly angry all the time. She says how lucky I am coz I have such a supportive husband, when she's a FT caretaker to her Mother who's getting older and recuped w/a stroke. She also waitresses FT. ANyway, she complains day in and day out about pretty much everything under the sun.
She's looking for help, but the best help I can give her is to atleast make the effort to inspire her to go for either professional therapy, OR a life coach!
But WHICH One is better?
Have U personally tried both?
I know w/therapy it seems probably they just talk about ur problems over and over
but w/a life coach it seems like there's more focus on ANSWERS to get u where you really wanna go in life
What's your compassionate opinion pls?
thx

What would be reasons to divorce your spouse other than obvious ones which are they beat you, they cheated, they gambled the house away, they are addicted to drugs or alcohol, they had a sex change you did not know about, etc. I want to hear the whole story with LOTS of DETAILS!

My boyfriend and I have been together for a little over 5 years now, and I'm not happy anymore. It's nothing in particular that he's doing, I'm just not happy. I'd love to do the whole "break" thing, but right now that is not an option, unless I move back into my parents house, as we live together.

I guess what I'm asking is, I'm planning on telling him how I feel, and why, and I'm sure he's not real happy either, so I'm sure I'll get a rebuttal, and I'm going to ask him if he thinks the relationship is worth salvaging, and taking like a 6-7 month break, or if he thinks it would be best for both of us to chalk it up to experience, break the tie now, and go our separate ways. HOW IN THE HELL DO I BRING THIS UP????!!!!

I'm not pissed, we're not fighting, when I get home from work, do I just say, "Hey honey, I'm home, and I'm not happy, blah, blah, blah"? Honestly, I've never broken up with someone I've lived with before. And why do I feel so guilty???
