Why does anyone pretend at all??

Not sure what you're driving at here. Of ocurse, all politicians generally do and say what they need to in order ot get elected during election time, and occasionally throw their constuents a bone at other times. It's par for the course. But just like you shouldn't be a lemming party voter, don't disregard those officials who are truly involved for service. They take some time to find and are the eception, butt hey are there.

I dont believe we trust any. Nor do we pretend to. I believe we badly would LIKE to trust them. But I believe it's impossible with some of the garbage that goes on.
