My hubby is having an emotional affair with a married woman with a kid who is divorcing her husband. They wrote emails to each other saying that I have mania and depression, and my marriage is a failure no matter how hard I try. I completely broke down when I found out. Now he wants to get back to me. Can I still trust him?

To me, emotional affair and physical affair are still cheating. But emotional affair even worst. I don't want my husband stay with me and thinking all day long about someone else. Even making love to me and fantasize about her. That's sad. Then I will never find out, if he never tell . But if physical cheating, soon or later the truth will come out. At least I know not to waste anymore time.

It is more difficult to get out of emotional affairs than physical affairs.

Still not a good thing. You are having problems sharing your emotions with your partner, so you've basically given up and moved onto someone who thinks like you and will listen.

Hey, you are still robbing your relationship by not going back and telling your partner, you need the emotional as much as the physical, and if she/he can't work with you on it, you'll prob. end up finding it somewhere else, but you never had sex right?
