i recently found out my bf of 10 yrs carries a condom in his wallet, when i asked him why he could not give me a answer that made sense. he says its really for no reason but i think not

some guys carry one around like a right of passage dating back to teenage years. if he says no reason can you trust this man after 10 years if not move on, 10 yrs is a long time to be together i think if he wasn't happy he'd been gone.

If he pulls the condom out of the wallet for sex with you, don't be too worried.
If you live together, and the condoms are in the nightstand drawer (or you don't use condoms), then be worried - especially with a shady answer.
P.S. - a condom in the wallet, kept in the pocket may get warm enough to break down the latex a bit, just enough to not give the protection that you think that you are getting.... (for pregnenacy & STD's)

Well, follow your instincts- we are guilty sometimes for being blind and not paying attention to these signs because of our love for our partners. I wont give you the " if you love him stuffs and trust thing". It's about being "true". So I would say YES - be concerned.Of course men would deny this- having casual sex. I presume he doesnt need to bring a condom in his wallet for both of you not unless you planned for it. It represents more of "unexpected sex".. in case he gets caught up in a moment with some girl, wherever he maybe.. Of course, some men may think since they have a serious GF to go back to, these casual encounters are unimportant, irrelevant and just to have fun.. and again its better to be "ready" and be safe, after all they- men have their serious GF's to go back to in which they "truly" love and adore. But, they dont understand, we ladies want our men to be really "IN" to us as how we are with them. As we put so much effort in resisting every temptation that comes our way- and we expect them to be the same. He may also be looking for some "spice" and thrills. Its better if you guys get to talk about it and ask him without arguing. Let him be able to say what he feels and what is in his head . I have a feeling this wasn't recent, and if it is, it's better to resolve it right away. but, whatever the outcome maybe its better that you found out NOW than when you guys are married.

Carrying a condom in your wallet is a bad idea as the heat from his *** expands the latex, making it more prone to breakage during intercourse or microscopic tears in the condom.
You shouldn't be worried. Maybe it's "just in case we get in the mood" type of thing. If it is or it isn't, carrying a condom in a wallet is still bad.

if you two dont use condoms, and he is carrying one in his wallet.. then YES you should be very worried. especially after being with him for ten years? and then when you asked him he didnt even have a respectable answer. straight up hes either trying to get some from somewhere else or he is. good luck to you..

I would be worried. What reason would he have for carrying it other than "sex on the go?"

Well let me be blunt! If you and him do not use condoms you should be extremely concerned! Im not saying he cheated, but he doesn't have it there to look cool! He had a condom for the reason everyone who carries a condom has one. In case you need it.

YES...latex contains a very trace amount of microscopic pores which naturally expand with heat...a condom in the wallet will increase chances of accidental pregnancy or transference of stds.
also a condom in the wallet is to most men who do it a mere ritual...and is generally always the same condom...i have one..its for good luck..but i would never use it

Hes lying about something. Why carry around something you don't need in a little wallet ? I could see if you just started dating and it happened to still be in there but 10 years come on. Hes considering something or seeing somebody on the side or maybe even prostitutes. Whatever it is I am just suprised you didn't find it sooner. Good luck to both of you.

the one reason why the guy always bring condom is for protection.... protection for not getting pregnant his partner or other women who having sex and safe for any infected deseases like aid and any viral infection .... but condom putting it in a wallet is not hundred percent safe, because condom need a humid temperature there is a tendency condom have a little bit hole.... thats why some asking "why my girlfriend become pregnant even im using condom"

After 10 years of being with a single person, the excuses don't mean anything. You should be worried. You should stop sleeping with him because what if he got a disease from one of his one night stands? What if he got another girl pregnant, despite the condom? This is not the man you want to spend the rest of your life with.
