this guy i like who goes to another school and is a totally different social circle then me. he likes me (he told me) but at the same time, he hooked up with a girl who goes to my school. i really don't feel comfortable with him coming to any school events since the girl he hooked up with would most likely be there and everything would be awkward. he told me about the hook-up and was concerned when i took it badly... i really want him to be able to come to events at my school, but is there any way for me to avoid a confrontation between him and her?

my wife and I will be celibrating our 25th anniversary in Oct. of this year. What would be an appropriate gift, or way of celibrating this event? We can't take a cruse or go on a second honeymoon, so these type of things are out. Unfortunatly at this time it will have to be on a low budget also.

My ex and i were together for 3 yrs. it ended badly, i'm glad we're broken up. but we were best friends....and it's weird not having each other to talk to.

we're trying to keep in touch, to keep the friendship at least. but every time we talk, i get SO irritated.

he will leave me messages online and say hi-- that's it. and if i say anything back, he completely ignores me. just doesnt respond, even if he's there.

or he'll call me and tell me a story quick and then be in a rush to get off the phone-- doesnt ask how i am, anything. he always says "i just wanted to say hi, i didnt want a conversation"

i geuss i get so angry bc thats why we broke up....bc he put NO effort into the relationship. i wanted to maintain a friendship here but is there really any point???

Okay, this is hard for me to talk about because I'm so disappointed. I was using my step dad's computer the other day because mine wasn't working and I found in his history A LOT of porn sites, that might not sound that bad, but my step dad is a Pastor! Let me give you a little background of my family for a min. My real brother told my mom and step dad he was gay his junior year, and they were Horrible to him, most of that was my step dad's doing, they told him he was going to hell and it's sin ect...Then I told my mom about a year ago that my boyfriend and I had been having sex for about 2 years. My boyfriend has a distinct scent. From day 1 I have noticed it. It is not bad, not good...it's just him. I told him about it and he said no one has ever told him that before. People look at me like I'm crazy when I say it too. It's really strong to my nose too. I have never really experienced that before...it's not a cologne or anything either...it's just his natural scent. How do I explain the fact that I can smell something that other people don't smell? I don't have a particularly awesome sense of smell...just average.

My husband had the ring custom made but its just not me. Believe it or not, I think its actually too big. The center diamond is a carat but then there are two side diamonds on each side. The side diamonds are about the same height as the center so it just all blends together. I have pretty small fingers so you don't see any of the band at all from the top.

I have had the ring for 2 years now. I didnt want to hurt his feelings so I never said anything. But I can't stop thinking about how he paid $8000 for something I don't even like. I don't know if I should just tell him or live with it. My sister keeps telling me to get over it and move on but its been two years and I still think about it. I'm torn because part of me thinks he picked it for me and I should just be happy with it. And part of me thinks that I should just tell him because he has told me in the past with other gifts to tell him if I don't like it so he can get me something I do.

What should I do?

How can I ever forgive myself for having an abortion? I feel like if I didn't let my kid live, why should I deserve to live. When I was 19 my mother forced me to have an abortion. She raised me to believe in abortion. Whenever a cousin or friend was pregnant my mom would yell "She needs to have an abortion" So finally when I became pregnant she told me that I "better get rid of it" I listened and really regret it. I flunked out of school, now I drink and smoke and feel miserable and depressed. I wonder if I can ever forgive myself and move on to love a happy/ healthy life?

Am i wrong? I want to know from most people. I mean hypothetically and in general. There is nobody who I am dating right now, but I asked this question to some friends of mine. Some told me that I should lie to a woman. Having never dated in my life, something gives me this idea that women how experienced a guy is. If he hasn't dated, then some have told me that she'll take advantage of the guy. Others have said it depends on the girl herself and what she might think. As for sex or kissing, how can one tell if the person hasn't done either? It's not like nobody could learn by watching porn or movies or be taught. Personally, I don't want to lie to one because I feel that it is unethical and that might come to a point where I lead one on and then fall short of expectations. Do women really ask their boyfriends how many women has one guy been with? Personally, I usually think that nobody wants to talk about the past, because they should forget it depending on how they ended.

when you try for counseling and your wife tells you she does not know if she even wants to. why is that? if she married me and then there is some adjustments that are difficult to make, why jump ship to be separated and then not even try counseling of any sort? are you a christian if you dont follow the words of God if you do not try with your heart as he states you should?

we were married for 7 months b4 she started distancing herself from me..i have an 8 year old who i raised from birth his real mom left him, and now this women has too... we are 29..
we are separated because she abandoned me physically, emotionally and spiritually in the marriage for months and months..very heartbroken i tried and tried to work on things. now separated for 3 months i am trying to work things out she has no effort just complains about things in the past, when she is at fault as well.

I've been with my boyfriend for 1.5 years. I feel like we DID have alot of potential and love for one another. We also both were mature and had a good head on our shoulders. Well, his ex-g/f tried to break us up, and it's ruined our relationship, I've let my insecurities ruin our relationship. I made too big a deal out of it. Now trust isn't there, we're both more paranoid, even though we're entirely open with each other. The big one is, respect is gone. We used to highly respect each other, and now the things we say to each other now I could've never imagined EVER wanting to say that to each other. I used to feel like he was head over heels for me, but now it's so different. We used to have ALOT of fun together and brought out the best in one another, and now I feel like we just argue alot more, and don't really do anything. All we do is sit around and watch TV. I felt that our relationship had so much potential, but jealousy & immaturity has gotten the best of it. How do I fix it?
