It sounds like he's treating you like one of his friends but if you want him to be more I'd keep treating him the same way just step it up a bit, start flirting more, compliment him, ask him to hang out one on one and see how he responds. If he acts weirded out or backs off then he might just want to be friends but he might flirt back and there you go...being friends is a great way to start a relationship :)

He is probably wondering the same thing about you. If you know him so weil, then you know what his interests are. Just look for something coming up that is in his interests and say, "I saw that there is a ______ coming up next Sat. I was thinking of getting us tickets. Would you like to go with me?"

I totally just had this happen to me!! It seems to me that he really is interested, so all you have to do is flirt back. Ask him over to your house, or ask him to go to the movies with you. That's what I did, and it worked out great. I hope all goes well for you!!

Isn't this Homecoming Dance season? If he asks you, then there's the answer to your question. You could drop some hints (like, "are you going to Homecoming?")

i think you should give him a kiss on the cheek, or if ur not like that then tell him that you like him. if that is still too much ask his friends what he thinks about you.

weeelll... uhmm. that sorta SORTA happened to me and i really messed up cuz i got my friend to tell him i liked him and after that i got her to tell him its over and then i went up to him to tell him i only said it was over cuz i didnt want to ruin our friendship and then he's like i dont like you. so whatever you do, dont get someone else to do it for you. and abt the first move. do it casually like if your sitting on a bench alone then bring it up like.. we've been friends a while..and yeahh....

it sounds like he's being freindly, but maybe he likes you, just not as much yet. give it a little more time, then make the first move if nothing happens
