my wife and I will be celibrating our 25th anniversary in Oct. of this year. What would be an appropriate gift, or way of celibrating this event? We can't take a cruse or go on a second honeymoon, so these type of things are out. Unfortunatly at this time it will have to be on a low budget also.

My wife and I had the same situation at our 25th. We decided that the most important thing in our lives were our 2 kids (who were both away at college - which is why we had no money for anything fancy). They both came home that weekend. We ordered a couple of large pizzas and a large salad. Washed them down, first with a bottle of champagne, then a couple bottles of wine. We had a great time. The alcohol opened up the kids and they talked about when they were growing up. "Remember the time that...." We laughed and laughed. The kids told us what meant the most to them as they grew up. We heard some stories of "What really happened." It was a very memorable evening. We have now passed 41 yrs. Congrats on your 25.
