OK long story.
when I was 12 my mum told me my dad wasnt my real dad. He raised me from birth. It was the worse feeling in the world. My Daddy. My hero. The man I looked up to. Not mine. He is my two younger brothers dad and I was raised to believe he was my dad too. It broke my heart and 5 years on it still really hurts. I speak to my "real dad" and he is quite wealthy and all that crap i have a younger sister (my life) and a 15 year old brother. I love them all so much but I will never get over the fact that my family the people I love and trusted with my life lied to me. I couldnt believe it and I will never forgive them on the inside. My "Biological dad" loves me soo much its unbelievable Ive never felt love like this because my daddy is so distant now. Hes not the same man he was 2 years ago. He ALWAYS shouts at me and has something to moan at me about. People say that he is just upset because he thinks I dont love him the same. But I love him so much I actually cry because...

Okay, this is strange. The neighbors invited us to their house yesterday for the game. I am not a drinker, anyhow, after a few hours my neighbor, who had been drinking the entire time....tells me she loves my husband. Loves him how???
He was at work, but I find her actions strange alot. Say the group is going to another location, she waits for him. Tells us about her and her husbands sex life etc, I don't know what to believe. How do I let her know, if she messes with him and I find out.......they will BOTH be sorry. But if you want to be my friend you don't mess with my man...geez, that is so elementary !
what do you think

Ok my fiance's parents are going through a (nasty) divorce. His mother cheated on her husband, lied to the family, and did some other unmentionable acts (she blames her husband for all of the terrible things she did). She is the type of person who carrys a grudge forever. My fiance doesn't want her at the wedding since she WILL cause a scene. He'd like his grandmother to stand in for her since she has been his real mother figure. He wants his mother cut off completly, he hasn't even spoken to her in months. I have no problem with this but I am concerned that his mother will flip out. Even worse, show up! I've left a spot on the list for her but didn't tell my fiance. She won't be getting an invitation though. I'm very concerned though, I know it will be bad if she comes, and bad if she doesn't. We have less than 6 months till the wedding and this is a real issue. What would you do? Any suggestions?

Me and my future wife are having problems getting our rehearsal dinner planned. I want to have a small gathering of the wedding party plus a few extras like the mothers and pastor ect. My fiancée wants to have this huge BBQ at the park with everyone from both families there. Which is more in the line of how a rehersal dinner should go. Any advise.

I grew up in a strict Church of Christ home that believes that you can get a divorce but are NEVER to remarry. I don't think that this is right, I even attended a cousin's wedding that my mom and dad refused to go to because her husband had been married before.

And now I'm engaged to a man that has been married before. His ex-wife slept with another man while he was in Iraq and moved him into their home. He divorced her on his mid-tour leave two years ago. I've been trying to study about this but it's all so confusing.

I need any and all advice. Please help, even if it may not be what I want to hear.

Say if two blokes were standing there and one was average/skinny and the other had large muscles, but apart from that they looked quite similar, same height etc, which one would you prefer.

I am not talking about personality here, I am just talking about initial attraction.

Why is it that if you want a big engagement ring, you are vain or don't love your boyfriend. I would never ask for certain requirements in my engagement ring. But, I do think if you date someone for a long time you know their standards.

So, what if I want a one carat ring. IMO, if he can afford it, then why not.

People try to equate "bigger rings, bigger weddings" with bad marriages. I know lots of people w/ smaller rings and smaller weddings and they still had bad marriages. And vice versa

What's so wrong with being a little vain. I've been with my Fi for 3 years. If I didn't love him, I would not be with him this long. He's not "loaded" but makes decent money. As do I. Why can't we have a bigger ring and a bigger wedding.

I mean, why do the women get "blamed" for wanting the larger rings. In the end, the men are the ones that make the purchase and decide on the size and amount. So, aren't they just as vain as the women they love?

I have been married for two years to my husband. Yesterday I stumbled upon old love letters from his past and the engagement ring and engagement gift of his ex girlfriend. I told him to destroy them but he refused. When I tried to destroy them my self he threw me out of the bedroom. 10 minutes later he left the house with the letters, ring and gift and returned without them I know for a fact that he went over to his mother to leave them there. His mother practically controls him and tries to control our marriage too. The peak was when she and my husband opened our wedding gifts without me. Please help:-(

This is for the women out there who may shed some light...Been married for 20 yrs. 2 children, out doing their own thing. We live in a nice home, cabin in the mtns, condo in Hawaii, Timeshare in Cabo...she drives a BMW, more Louis Vuittons and Coach purses than I care to count...Doesnt have a job, I work from home so we spend plenty of time together...and my wife treats me like crap. What gives? Now, I'm not the sensitive, new age, tears on my pillow kind of guy. I believe its my duty as a husband to be supportive, to provide, to keep her safe and I think I've done a pretty good job. But, its getting ridiculous. At some point when does she have to acknowledge that I too have needs and feelings? I'm feeling underappreciated. I get stressed too. I get tired of the same old thing. But this woman has a great life. We spend lots of time together and It seems like she doesnt care and doesnt want to hear me out sometimes. Starting to feel lonely...

I just recently found out that my boyfriend's ex is this gorgeous girl that happens to model.
I'm not ugly, I've modeled before myself.
But it's kinda hurting me knowing that his ex is this tall, blonde, blue eyed beauty.
I know I should accept the fact that he's with me (2 years) and move on.

But it's proving harder than I thought. Anyone else ever face this--and how did you overcome it?

I am wanting some opionions on this text habit my wife has recently developed. She text this friend of hers (man) prob. 60 times a day, mostly about nothing but bs stuff. The thing that has started to bother me is this: This wkend we spent in Dallas doing some family stuff and then going to the game. While were together driving fm place to place, she is steadily over there texting the dick. I find it very annoying and somewhat rude. She didn't bring the phone in the game with her, but as soon as it was over and we were in the car.... bam.... she was texting this dick to tell him the score. Why is she so into this sh*t with this dick? She asked if she could take a pic of me and send it to him and that started an argument bc it offended me and I told her hell no. I didn't want to send my pic to that dick. Looking 4 some feedback please.
