So my boyfriend's ex is a friggin' model...?

Question

I just recently found out that my boyfriend's ex is this gorgeous girl that happens to model.
I'm not ugly, I've modeled before myself.
But it's kinda hurting me knowing that his ex is this tall, blonde, blue eyed beauty.
I know I should accept the fact that he's with me (2 years) and move on.

But it's proving harder than I thought. Anyone else ever face this--and how did you overcome it?

Just remember, she's an ex for a reason. He chooses to be with you. And in my experience, men compare far less than women do. Chances are better that you compare your current boyfriend to your ex more than he compares you to his ex.

My husband has told me this story about a girl he used to be with that modeled and how pretty she was. I was jealous at first and then was like..wait...only one date....haahah she must not have been interested. Think of it this way if your man was good enough for a beautiful woman image what you must be to him. Usually people upgrade and not downgrade. And just because she is beautiful on the outside does not guarantee she's beautiful on the inside. Not to mention sometimes guys exaggerate to make us jealous.

It is difficult to find that out about your other half ex's, somethings should be left alone. However, you find it difficult to move on and no doubt you will. The only way forward is to talk it through with your bf, politely no shouting, ask him about her, if he loves you he will support you and help you through it together. She might be an amasing model, but in his eyes he only has you, she could be Kate Moss in someone else's point of view, but not in your partners. Talk about it.
