We have been married 21 years and 7 months ago I found out that she had a physical affair 12 years ago and two emotional affairs in the last 2 years. The last one happening just last christmas. She has done everything on the outside to change including quitting her job and working with me. She is now active in our church and seems more spiritual now. Soon after she confessed everything she told me that she never really loved me our whole marriage but had just a warped type of love for me but that now she really does love me as long as I am acting happy and nice around her. She also discovered as we were in the first month after D day that she had been fondled for 2 years by a teenage boy when she was 4 and at 6 he raped her. And she lived in a home where love was never shown or any other emotion for that matter. Consequently her comfort zone is being distant with only light verbal interaction and only light physical interaction 1 or 2 days a week. My love language is physical.

What do I tell a girl about past relationships if I've never had any. If I tell her the truth I'd look weird right? (I'm 20) But I'm not comfortable with lying, its wrong. So? Help?

should I date with many different girls or not, I just dont fall in love with girls and I dont have love relationship experiecne which damage my relationship. I am shalow and I like girl who looks like sharapova and girls who have sweet personality. When I Choose girl, I always think that I can like this girl forever or not and I want long term relationship. I dont want to be playboy.
I will not able to date well in the future when I find the girl I can love so stong. Also, It makes me feel loney and waste of my time without love, so should I just find a girl who are not even my type and start dating? maybe I could like the girl when I got to know her well.

Well I did that yesterday (just passing it along really) and one of my so-called friends not only scolded me about sending out silly emails, she also emailed my other friends on the list. So essentially she told me off in front of everyone. Some people just don't have a sense of humor. They were jokes about women being smarter/better than men.

My little brother got married about 18 months ago. She's 27,he's 33.His wife's absolutely gorgeous, extremely high maintenance and very career driven. All she cares about is looking good and making money. My brother is very family oriented and adores children. His wife on the other hand considers unborn children parasites and pregnancy something to be avoided at all cost. She has 5 nieces and nephews who she barely notices let alone spends time with yet spoils her 3 dogs rotten at every chance. She managed to get pregnant 3 times despite being on birth control pills and aborted all 3.She's desperately seeking a doctors to tie her tubes at her age and actually celebrates whenever she gets her period because it means she's not pregnant.I feel so bad for my brother and wish he'd leave her but he practically worships the ground she walks on and would rather walk through fire than leave her even if it means giving up the thing he wants most. What kind of woman would deny her husband children?

At least, I don't think I do. My fiance proposed to me and I said yes, because at the time, I did want to get married and start a family. A year and a half later, I still want to be with him, but I don't want to get married. My outlook on life has changed drastically, and now I don't want to get married or have children, ever. It's just not... me... anymore.

We live together, pay taxes, have insurance, and all other things that married couples do, except for the part about being "official." Am I wrong to not want to get married? I just don't see the point. Perhaps I am just trying to hold on to my independence, I don't know.

Or maybe I just don't want to make a commitment. But I have made a commitment to him, just a different one than marriage.

I've held off the marriage with the excuse of college, but I'm graduating soon with no more excuses to not get married. Any advice on how to handle the situation?

it ended ubruptly, she wanted to maintain friends..i told her i was not ready i wasn't as strong as her i still felt too much and i was happy she was IN love again, she told me she had feelings for him and that he means alot to her and that i deserved to have happiness..i respected that and stopped contact since, her friends say she speaks highly of me, probably still even cares...i dunno about that..if she did wouldn't she contact me instead of playing coy and waiting for me to contact her?she lives in the same apartment complex as we did before she is still in the area as we were before my friends are now her friends i mean i dunno but if i do go back home i definately run into her again somehow..do u think she still cares? or am i settling myself up for failure?

So men (and women) may say they're looking for someone with a sence of humor, or other qualities, but really they are looking for someone who they find physically attractive.... Back to the gym for me I guess :S

My husband talks to me with such anger and disrespect you would gag. Everything that goes wrong is my fault. He has been extremely verbally and emotionally abusive. With everything that I have been through, when he is attacking me verbally, I do the only thing I know how to do, I attack him physically. Everything is a mess. We've both made mistakes and bad decisions in the past, but my mistakes and decisions are the only ones that matter. He is constantly judging me and putting me down. He has no respect for my job because I got it through a temp agency, so it doesnt meant anything and doesnt appreciate anything I do or have to say. Where is this going?

I have been dating my girlfriend for 4 months now. Things seem to be going ok with a few bumps in the road along the way. However, lately, she has been saying I LOVE YOU but not with enthusiasm, including sometimes when she says it on the phone so low I can’t hear her and have to ask what she said. Recently, and only because it was something I said in conversation that brought this up, she said she is going to start working later on Wednesdays starting in 2 weeks and trying to work a few hours extra each day during the week for extra money. Again, she didn’t volunteer this info. Now I wouldn’t think anything of this being that we have talked about getting a place in 5months when her lease is up and we could use the extra cash to support ourselves. However, she has a history of cheating, including her ex hubby. And I still suspect she talks to her other ex she cheated on him with, but she denies it. Even though she has text him in front of me.

I opened the account when our daughter was born and stopped paying in when we divorced 7 years ago by which time there was £5500 in it.
We didn't tell our daughter about the account, it was to help her start Uni.
Now she's starting Uni and the time has come to give her the money my ex admits it's all gone.
I signed our house and all our bank accounts over to her, paid what the CSA said I should, and made additional voluntary payments when I could, but apparently that's not enough so she steals off our own daughter.
The bank say the only way she could've done it was by supplying a sample signature and then forging it.
I'm not sure what to do. Your thoughts please!

i just found out my husband invited his brither and his little boy to spend the night at our house TONIGHT. i just found out this morning and apparently he has known for a few days, and didn't tell me. There is a big difference between coming to visit and spending the night. Visit might mean i need to do a little spot cleaning. and overnight stay entails major cleanign cause they would be using the bathroom and everyroom in the house. PLUS my husband and i have problems so i have slept on the couch for almost a year, how inconsiderate of him not not think of where they will sleep or where i will sleep for that matter. I think i have a right to be mad do you?

Hello Everyone! I live with my boyfriend. He’s 37, and I’m 30. He is going to school to get his PhD, he was a divorce attorney and completely hated it. It was going to give him a heart attack if he continued, so I fully supported him going back to school and getting his PhD so he can teach. I work full time, and I have to get up at 5 AM for my job, I get home around 5 in the evening. After that I go work out, and I’m in bed by 8, at the latest 9. All of my boyfriend’s classes are night classes, and he only has classes on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. So, the rest of the time, he’s home. The other day, he said his only hesitation in marrying me is that “our standards of cleanliness are very different.” My reply was, well I’m sorry I work 40 hours a week, but I’m not going to be manipulated into being the ‘good wife.’ Which I feel he was manipulating me. If anything gets done around the house, its me doing it on my time off. Am I being unreasonable? Any ideas?

A friend and I had a falling out a few months ago. She has made it clear she wants no more contact with me or she will file charges. How do I deal with this hostility? I don't have to work with her, but it hurts that she feels this way. How do I cope? It's difficult when someone you used to be close with wants nothing to do with you. I'm hoping she will come around, but the outlook does not look well at the moment. We used to tell each other everything so this is really hard for me.
