if you are 18 years old, but are still in highschool, can you leave your parents' house and live on your own. my friends dad said you couldn't, but i'm pretty sure you can.

Yes you can. As a matter of fact I left when I was 15. I went to court and had myself declared legally emancipated and moved in with my older sister.

Yes. You can drop out of highschool at that age why not live on your own? Just remember, living on your own costs $$$ I would live at home as long as I can, save the dough!

yes but you are requiried by law to stay in school, and you parents are still responsible for your actions until you graduate. but i live in texas, so it might depend on state. i moved out at seventeen and the cops straight up told my mom you cant make her come home...

legally at 18 you are an independant adult. you can go and live whever you want and with whoever you want. if you are in USA leave and go and live in Europe then you can even drink legally

You can legally do so. However, your parents are under no obligation to pay any of your bills or expenses or ever talk to you again.
