myself When I was a kid, I wanted to be a teacher. In middle school, I wanted to be a writer. In high school, I wanted to be a nurse. Now I'm content staying at home with my daughter

I am 22 and I still live with my parents. I am a college senior and, in my country, it is almost impossible to earn enough money at this age to live on your own. I do work, but I don't pay for anything around the house, so I guess they support me. We get along pretty well, they don't question my relationships, with friends or boyfriends, nor where I go. Also, they encourage me to take the professional path of my choice.
But, despite this seemingly favorable scenario, there are things which make me think they will never let go. Whenever I mention wanting to move out, they try to make me feel bad about it and point out that I couldn't manage without them. I am smart and I was extremely appreciated by my superiors in the places I've worked. Still, the fact that I would like a life that wouldn't include living with them bugs them. At least that's my impression. My mom likes to interfere and call me A LOT. I love them and I want them to trust me completely.

Do you think I am right?

I am having trouble in my marketing class not looking at some of the girls chest. We had to form groups yesterday and pick sides on an argument, so when these particular girls are speaking I am trying with all of my willpower to just stare at there eyes, but i almost need blinders or something lol i know that sounds bad, but hey there flaunting there boobs and putting them out there for ppl to see so its not like im trying to stare im trying to resist from staring. What are some things i can do guys or girls just don't say your a pervert or something that because 1 i already know that im a pervert and 2 it doesnt help me with my problem.

A recent question about giving presents to parents on here got me to thinking. Last year when we got married, instead of a present I wrote a letter to my parents thanking them for their support and love, etc. (FYI they helped us pay for the wedding) They are the kind of people that dont like extra things around the house without a purpose. Also, we are buying them their "parent album" of the wedding once they decide which pictures they like. Tell me honestly, do you think I was rude and selfish to not get them a gift? What kind of gift did you get your parents?

Please use your brain and tell the truth. Don't give me philosophical talks. Instead give me practical answers about what you really live for.
Who knows, this question could invent actually what you are up to instead of what you should be.
Most of us are behind money & power
Some live with pride
We always search for love which we don't get
But in all of the above we forget happiness.............. This is my say

I have these wonderful friends that I met in college. Things were so GREAT with our friendship. These two good friends were there for me even at one of the most crucial times in my life. But now its been almost 9-10 years since I've known them. As our friendship went on, their was lot of jealousy. Careerwise, Relationships.....I admit I wasn't such a good friend. Now our friendship is drifting apart. An upcoming wedding that I wasn't invited to is tommorrow, and they are friends with the girl who is getting married, I was too. Now, I feel that they are so sick of me and my name dropping and acting spoiled that they are going to be friends with her and her new husband.
I played the piano at these wonderful friends' wedding when they asked me too. But now, Our friendship just seems one sided. They moved an hour away from here, it takes awhile for them to answer my calls. They get angry whenever I share good things in my life with them, they aren't happy for me.

Additional Details

tommorrow these wonderful friends arranged a picnic, before the wedding. The girl getting married isn't going to be there. Should I go...one last time to salvage the friendship? should I tell them I'm really sorry for being such a bad friend, that I'm insecure and that's why I do all these things, name drop, like high-class things, talk about my family. Or should I just forget about and move on? They REALLY mean alot to me, but I don't know how much of this I can take anymore......trying so hard for it to be like it was before (or a little bit close, I understand of course that they are married now and live far away) when they used to come over every single day. But not keeping so much in touch......even if they are married......it shouldn't (ourfriendship) shouldn't change THIS much. What should I do?
(sigh) :(

What if you're in love with a guy. And that guy has a girlfriend but you find out she's cheating on him. Even though you couldn't tell him, he found out one day and broke up with her. And you still like him. He's really nice to you but you're sure he doesn't like you, and if you told him your feelings, he'd probably start acting differently. What would you do?

If he does, how do you know you found him? Where do you look? Is this even possible?

Not the lighthearted flirting or friendship type of stuff. But the slightly creepy kind, full of compliments and unwaranted attention.

We had a registry, but still got "original" gifts.

While I am always grateful for any gifts, I got some pottery. Not like useful pottery. Just some ceramic things in odd shapes that match nothing. I am not into pottery, wouldn't use it as decoration. (My 11 month old would probably break it)

So why do people insist on being creative? Wouldn't you rather give something that the recipient can actually use and enjoy?

Again, I am grateful that they gave a gift and everything, but it just makes me wonder...

So I am curious - how many of you out there shop from the registry and how many try to be creative?
